He's probably hoping he can sell his house in Tauranga for what it was worth 6 months ago too...

@thegreatestben Sports seats are the biggest single upgrade on E9x IMO. Shouldn't be too hard to retrofit a pair of front leather ones out of an E90, they're the same as the E91. Radar cruise would be a rare option on an E9x, can't recall ever seeing one with that.

You could probably flog 'em and get $500 back to put towards some decent ones! - there're a pair of rear Conti SC5's in the correct size on TM for $200 all in
-
Super clean look debadged in white - I actually don't mind the rep wheels but inevitably they'll have come with some Linglong Ditchfinders
-
https://consumer.licensys.co.nz/plate-vehicle-details Dropdown box gives options for replacement reason - 'damaged' etc
-
Yes once you get the new ones
-
$23.15 for a new pair of plates @Kees - that's probably the equivalent of driving 40k in the W8 🤔
-
In Wellington diesel is nearly the same price as petrol now - ~2.60 vs ~2.75 then RUC's on top. I assume this is refining related rather than oil co's applying differential markup I guess it's working to control demand - last tank was my best economy since started recording (50L for 748k of mixed driving)

km it is...not sure about the wheels but looks nice otherwise
-
@Contrails make sure waterpump and thermostat are done. engines are sound otherwise albeit a bit leaky
-
Won't be long before BMW NZ only sell electric SUV's then @E30 325i Rag-Top 😔?
-
that exhaust gonna be cooking some carbon bike frame if he does @Vass...
-
cheap to buy maybe not cheap to fix (unless you're @KwS)

Agree the exterior of the S is better looking. Interior resembles a strip club. Also the C/E/S are the ultimate in Babushka (see below) and the fact that all c-class (including the C63) are 3 or 4 cylinder doesn't appeal much

update us on the carplay install on the F31 once it's done @Sammo - need some glamour shots too. reasonably tempted to get one for mine.
-
Replaced the low tone horn - embarrassing squeaky horn output now gone, with a big thanks to @Spinner99 who loaned his jack and expertise!
-
Not just an Auckland thing. Coombes Johnston offer it too.
-
Not holding my breath for their counterparts in Wellington to offer the same - captive audience here 🙄
-
Import ex-Singapore probably your best bet for that. Not many people here or in UK paying 3K GBP / 7k NZ for an optional sound system
-
105 is wildly optimistic. 75k on a very good day...it's not even a petrol
-
It's back (probably still wanting his 122k 🙄) https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/listing/3560093066

I was going to say don't go to Lee European - ended up going through small claims tribunal to get my money back...but they're in liquidation. https://www.stuff.co.nz/business/small-business/100376286/car-dealer-lee-european-punished-for-failing-to-stick-to-settlement-with-former-employee I'd go with Manawatu BMW I think
-
It's definitely dead. Low tone horn is known to die prematurely (from excessive use maybe?!) on the F3x
-
Thanks anyway @jon dee - think I'll just have to suck it up and pay someone to do it, with the wheel off I suspect it would be quite straightforward

Very nice colour combo and it's a great engine. 6.1/100 is very impressive, my best tank on a 335d (same engine but 4wd albeit probably 200kg lighter) is 6.8/100 measured brim to brim. the OBC on mine is pretty optimistic, says I'm averaging 6.8 including round town running. It's possible wheels were replaced due to cracking, I think the 20's were prone to it. It would look good on Style 351's in 19" which I imagine would fit fine.
