  1. @modz Nope and neither did Oz. Maybe Singapore did?
  2. E28 M535i with seriously non standard (straight piped??) exhaust
  3. Alpina D4S in Tokyo. Car culture here is awesome, heaps of late model Mercedes C and E class and Volvo estates, not so many BMW’s and Audi surprisingly but gives me hope that RHD wagons will still be available even if NZ New are all SUV’s
  4. Except the last 5 k of the Remarks road would likely be the end of your front splitter 😬
  5. To a local even @Bennyboy! Be interested to hear what you think of it
  6. @KwS ironically when they're going to spend several tens of millions to remove one set of traffic lights further down SH2 (Melling) - which I am in favour of. JFC NZTA are terrible. The public service cull should've started with them So much this.
  7. The only way that could be better is if it were a touring 🤤
  8. @Neil McCauley assume you’ve seen this? All ready to tow with factory electric towbar https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/335d/listing/4690130959
  9. Lack of offset might be the issue. I think it’ll clear with spacers (especially if it’s an x drive with stock suspension)
  10. https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/330d/listing/4666067620 I know you've just splashed out on big brakes for the E90 @Neil McCauley but this looks like it ticks most of the boxes?
  11. A new (new new?) EGR assembly (assume they have finally caught up with updated part manufacture, had a Wahler valve after first replacement) and a new OE Pilkington windscreen
  12. So the end result of this is that the car now has a new correctly installed OE Pilkington screen courtesy of CCBMW after S+S had put 2 new aftermarket screens in, awful whistling above 50kph with both. I swear the inside vehicle SPL is about 10dB less with the OE screen. Very happy
  13. That dealer sails very close to the wind with selling practice. I looked at an i3 from them and they wanted to charge $1500 ORC. the nz new one above looks a better bet
  14. Looking at the CIN it may have done more than 28km (that was the number when it got WOF last year) - I was imagining a very awkward chat between the salesperson and the dealer principal otherwise
  15. The asking price on the crashed RHD converted one is about double what it should be
  16. If you (are somehow able to) ignore the grille the g8x styling is quite cohesive. The c8 rs6 almost looks like a caricature of an Audi rs wagon on 22 inch wheels, c7 looked so much better IMO. The new one isn’t even any quicker
  17. No doubt if you were buying it to drive in NZ RHD would be preferable but the reality is the vast majority of these are collectors cars now and no one from Europe / the US wants a converted RHD car, decreasing the value accordingly.
  18. https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/318i/listing/4636952657 malachite green project touring anyone?
  19. Less than an LHD one. No one is dailying these anymore and the pool of buyers for a 50k + weekend car is pretty small. I'd say 55-60k if you had to sell.
  20. 992 GT3 in Martinborough. Sounded a bit poo with the DSG farts though, I thought they all used to be manual.
  21. Slim pickings since Jon @ Auto 38 moved IMO. Value service pricing at CC BMW isn’t too horrific
  22. Has that been parked in a pond?
  23. I’m running s001 run flats on my F31 and they have excellent longevity, more than 40000k on them and they’re still on 4mm front / 3.5 rear
