You may not find many 320i M Sports with leather interior - virtually all the Japanese imports with M Paket were alcantara interiors except the 335i (and that’ll give you bumpers pre-drilled for PDC sensors too if you can find one of those) at some point during E91 production they swapped from a single panel sunroof to a pano double roof too
-
Even with the non matching panels it looks so good on the Alpina rims

Someone like @promo may be able to assist?

For 120k I want an Evo II with an S14 thanks - I'm sure it's great to drive but originality is everything IMO.
-
Looks a clean example @elias! As you say not many on the market, especially NZ new and without the emissions equipment tampered with. They are probably at the bottom of their depreciation curve now, so maybe 8-9k to the right buyer. I think the E91 facelift 335d touring went for about 12.

@tomlnz car discussed in thread above. Hopefully you can get issues with dealer sorted. Wouldn’t be surprised if this particular one has already been mapped. I have a 335d as well and would be inclined to run it stock for a bit before going for a remap as IMO it isn’t really required. Would change diff oil and maybe transmission flush at that age / mileage - xdrive breaking (which seems much more likely with a remap) will run several thousand to fix. Regular (ie. non 2 year / 30 k km) oil changes are a must. Some people are keen on lowering them due to the stock xdrive suspension being high (Eibach are springs of choice) but then the transfer case is in the firing line on non sealed roads eg ski wagon usage.

Is This Where The E30 Market Is Now..?
balancerider replied to E30 325i Rag-Top's topic in TradeMe discussions
It certainly has for new EV’s. 26k off brand new pre-reg IX1 is pretty attractive, just gotta persuade ‘the boss’ that it’s better than an XC40 Ev -
Malachite E30 (sadly an auto)
-
Ghastly thing. Red interiors are never great but combined with a bright blue exterior 🤮
-
You might be thinking of the Q7?
-
Me either. Presumably the M5 bits could be removed and car taken back to stock apart from manual conversion (which would be cool). Guessing they'd sell easily in US / UK / Europe but a pretty small market here with only ~45 E39 M5's in the country. Really want a big engined wagon in an interesting colour - Oxford green E39 540iT would be cool.
-
'06 330i will have N52 engine which is more reliable than the N53 in the facelift E92 (injectors and NOX sensors go wrong)

They’re all rusty(er than the NZ new ones) though. Would’ve been great if the early 2000’s weren’t an utter paint / rustproofing fail from the German marques as they transitioned to water based paints
-
From the era when VW were briefly not sensible (the bork potential I’m sure is heroic). A car for @Kees maybe? same KW as a 335d but 750 NM of torque
-
needs a lot of love. carbon black is a nice colour and it's unlikely to be as rusty as a UK import. I reckon $25-27k, maybe a bit more if it comes with some spares.
-
needs to sell it so he can afford to buy a new camera
-
The problem being you're unlikely to be paying peanuts, even if that's what the techs at a main dealer are receiving. Gotta pay for the glass palace and coffee machine somehow
-
Nice work @Vass - that previously janky wiring strongly incentivises working on my car myself. Some people just have no interest in doing things properly (but are quite happy to be paid as though they do)
-
Roof rail delete looks so good on the e46 (and the PFL e91 for that matter)
-
Very infrequent that I have rear seat passengers, I suspect a little better than e91/e46 though. there were 3 plastic panels + battery hold down to remove and nowhere for the terminals to go in the f31. I really like it as a do it all car though, a G21 m340i appeals although probably wouldn’t offer much over the f31 except apple carplay

Battery access looks better in the E46 than in my F31 (as my newly skinless knuckles can attest). 8.5 years for the original Varta 90aH AGM in mine, i thought that wasn't too bad given the increased parasitic drain in newer cars

Replaced the original Varta 90aH AGM with a Century 95aH AGM. Was still starting ok but seemed a good time to swap. coding new battery with Bimmercode dead easy (although no 95aH option so left battery size as is) (sacrificed a fair bit of knuckle skin to the BMW gods, the battery compartment on the F31 is awkward to say the least)
-
Sorry @Olaf - as a dog owner it’s something I see frequently. Applicable to all the sloping roof SUV’s though, nothing specifically against the BMW version
-
This is clearly overpriced but looks decent otherwise. Bit older and may need rear air suspension replaced at this age. https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/listing/5038511096 I saw a lovely LCI F11 535d on the way to work this morning. 5er tourings (except for the current one) just look so good.
