    Laptops

Its really not a problem, most people would of bought a new machine (or something else has failed )before the SSD fails because of too many writes.

  8. Yeah its common for that to happen. That check ball wears out and allows forward and reverse clutch packs to be engaged at the same time when reverse is selected and quickly destroys the reverse clutches.
  9. This thread is about replacing it with another auto box, it dosent need to be shorted out.
  10. Yeah, they have different output flanges and also different tail housings depending on what they were used for. Bell housings also different depending on what it came off. All easy stuff to swap over though.

  16. It dosent move enough air. By the time you spin it up fast enough to make any decent amount of boost it will be well out of its efficiently range and be pumping hot air. The larger SC14 unit would be better, but they still aint that great. Most people who do it end up pulling them off shortly after and going for something else.
  17. Inhibitor is part of the gear selector, so wont be a problem.
  18. You can leave the tps and wiring etc in place...

    hpc coatings.

is there anything else out there available for coating exhaust manfiolds, turbos etc to keep heat in? I looked at the hpc coatings, and they are pretty expensive. I want to stay away from heat wrap though. How durable are the coatings, ie do they chip off easily or will they take a beating? pretty sure you could cook a steak on my bonnet at times.
  20. Yes it will. Just need kick down cable and brackets
  21. The EH model isnt that much flasher... If you're worried about it been "fun to drive" manual convert it.
