  2. haha... here I was thinking I'm crazy for contemplating rotating my tyres during lunch.
  3. pitched blue tent over the back gave it away. I'd be keen to take alook if you ever need a extra hand with anything hit me up.
  4. pretty pathetic life, trolling forums to try to make a few $. Whatever you feel about it Julian. I think kama has already dealt with him.
  5. Hi Francois. Walking the dogs around my new neighborhood yesterday I noticed a silver E39 with a blue tent over it. After literally reading your build thread the day before, I couldn't help but recognise the project.
  6. this. it's your only real option.
  7. check the ticket for your rights. if you have the right to a written appeal, it might be worth the stamp to do so. they can't fine you more.
  8. Write a letter as soon as you can. Explain how you are unfamilar with the car and explain the type of car, ie- no TC, older tyres...etc all the reasons why this might have happened. Hope. If you are really keen you can get a lawyer to draft it for you, legal letterhead does hold weight. End of the day I believe they will weigh up your previous record and may get input from the ticketing officer. It's your only low cost / no cost alternative to defending in court (which i wouldn't recommend). If it goes to court you will loose and it will cost you more. ps - your sig here isn't helping your cause. or was that a demonstration of how it's done properly?

    HELLBM M3/M5 Project

the more examples of this frankenstein marriage on our roads the better. IMO You go Ray. (& give me first swipe if you ever sell 8M3)
  11. Turn K off. It's not used by any law enforcement you will just be picking up civilian garbage. I have mine just ka & laser. As mentioned new camera van's use X band but you will generally see the van before the radar goes off due to it's narrow beam & angle. That way if it beeps you can train yourself to tap the brakes.

    MH370.. Now MH17

this sh*t The call was made 20 minutes after the plane crash by Igor Bezler, military commander of the separatist Donetsk People's Republic, the Kyiv Post reported. FULL TRANSCRIPT Igor Bezler: We have just shot down a plane. Group Minera. It fell down beyond Yenakievo. Vasili Geranin: Pilots. Where are the pilots? IB: Gone to search for and photograph the plane. Its smoking. VG: How many minutes ago? IB: About 30 minutes ago. SBU (Ukraine Intelligence) comment: After examining the site of the plane the terrorists come to the conclusion that they have shot down a civilian plane. The next part of the conversation took place about 40 minutes later. Major: These are Chernukhin folks show down the plane. From the Chernukhin check point. Those cossacks who are based in Chernukhino. Greek: Yes, Major. Major: The plane fell apart in the air. In the area of Petropavlovskaya mine. The first "200" (code word for dead person). We have found the first "200". A Civilian. Greek: Well, what do you have there? Major: In short, it was 100 percent a passenger (civilian) aircraft. Greek: Are many people there? Major: Holy sh**t! The debris fell right into the yards (of homes). Greek: What kind of aircraft? Major: I haven't ascertained this. I haven't been to the main sight. I am only surveying the scene where the first bodies fell. There are the remains of internal brackets, seats and bodies. Greek: Is there anything left of the weapon? Major: Absolutely nothing. Civilian items, medicinal stuff, towels, toilet paper. Greek: Are there documents? Major: Yes, of one Indonesian student. From a university in Thompson.

Hey Julian, what's actually not working atm? How are you feeling about the 850 now? has it lost it's "shine" with the problems or is it everything you expected?
  16. even in that terrible colour they continue to produce...... gawd it looks good.
  17. so why have it in? I admit the audio + cooler part is cool, not original, but cool. They should have left it there.
  18. I think there's packaging issues that have been washed over. Where is the motor & hardware for the blender. Where is the battery pack. What is the internal load capacity with these included? What is the weight fully loaded? Something tells me what you would get would either be a severely limited battery life or very small space for actual cooler. Or if they went with high end lithium-ion batteries ridiculously expensive.
  19. It was. I guess he's going for a slightly different route.
  20. wholey cow. Dream garage right there. Yes pic's please. (oh & welcome!)
  21. Amen. Rob. Well someone had to say it. I've been travelling to Tauranga from Auckland most wknds and I'm shocked with the state of the road. At one point I was forced over a massive pothole, that or vere into oncoming traffic. Rudely awoke my passengers. Yes my car is lowered on 19" rims. But still that thing was massive, and it wasn't just one. I'm with you Rob. I'm honestly for the first time thinking I might need to give up my M5 and get a automatic SUV to deal with the state of some of the roads I have to travel. I've never seen it so bad. Forget keeping my eye on the speedo or looking for other road users I'm forced to scan the road ahead for something lurking wanting to rip a wheel off and leave us stranded. we aren't alone here: http://www.stuff.co.nz/auckland/local-news/rodney-times/10215123/Rocky-roads-in-need-of-repair
  22. wow. who would buy one & not drive it tho?
  23. sounds like someone there pulled some strings for you Dave, grab that with two hands. Powerslide where you can.
