Good girl. So what do you get??
-
Worth it though. Just because a car might be worth 5k or 10k doesn't mean it should be on $100 tyres for each corner. A budget performance set should be at least $1000, start to get some decent stuff in the $1500-2000 range. Depends on sizes of course. I wish this country had improved regulations on tyre quality, theres so many cheap brands out there now.

Tyres are the fundamental part of any car. Anyone who puts cheap brand tyres on their car is showing their lack of understanding and not a true enthusiast. If they can't afford good tyres then perhaps moving to collecting stamps is a better idea - cars are and will never be cheap to run I'll be interested to see what you got Amber!

I guess that is the trouble when it comes to trying to sell a classic poster car of the 90s

B10 V8s Alpina E39 RHD ..... drool ......

So cool. Interesting how they crossed out the old chassis code! -
This is my third mount set of 4 different stages in development when I did my old E36 1UZ swap. This set got the engine sitting as low as possible (modified sump) but engine wasn't as far back as I wanted, so the 4th set that went with the car took the engine back to the firewall 15mm more than these. Not a big deal but these still worked well! I did a few thousand Kms on these. Cheap considering time, material and developing these! After $175. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=1073208950

What happened to the glorious stock CSL wheels??!
-
I did a half cage in my e36. Trouble is it stiffens the rear and makes the front feel extra floppy, need to run bars from the rear down the side of the seats to the forward footwell at least.
-
Hmmm, I don't think they work on an E46. Other ones are much more fitting for the cars shape / vintage.

Car looks half as good without the RCs! Can't wait to see them all mint again

I like how that video showed how boring the new age turbo engines sound! XD Bring back S65s

E46 330i manual with toasted motor $2k

Saw that earlier, I'd be so keen but too much vested in other things. -
One can only assume they made a rookie mistake and didn't plug one of the switches back in place, probably drivers one.
-
I drove one when looking at an MX-5 years ago. Think it was a 2.2 auto, bit of a laugh but did have that budget BMW feel about it. Didn't strike me as a particularly safe car with its size but I guess that is the risk with small convertibles.

Pity about the cheap steering wheel and missing passenger door card. Would look good on some M3 wheels.
-
Just need to measure the length you need really, fitting to fitting. I had a swivel end fitted to a hose I had made up for my E36 1UZ swap. Worked well. Only really need to do the high pressure side with proper fittings, cost about 150 from memory.

Have you checked for rodents in the exhaust? Sometimes they nest there, might be tapping into the electrical system drawing some power for their lights..

Damn very nice, so even better than a CSI All the 850is should have been like CSIs with the 380hp enigne really. -
So I looped this short 1-2 second clip to be about 33 seconds longer so you can appreciate the V12s piston configuration I find the variation in the way motor configurations are ordered on the crank and their ignition timing quite a fascinating topic. M70s have a firing order of 1-7-5-11-3-9-6-12-2-8-4-10 The driver side bank is number cylinders 1-6 and passenger side bank 7-12. If we watch the clip cylinder 1 on the drivers side front hits TDC and a fraction of a second later so does cylinder 7 on the passenger side front. What I was wondering, is after the above moment, would cylinder 7 be firing at when it then starts traveling to BDC? It just looks like such a short ignition angle variation, unless I'm missing something? 4 strokes take two full crank rotations, so, 720 deg / 12 cylinders 60 degree per cylinder firing. Thoughts?

Wiring is actually one of the most fun jobs IMO

So this car was originally red?
