jeffbebe 1559 Report post Posted November 12, 2015 Blue/black 1994 850CSi (reg ***55) on SH1 near Meremere, making good progress towards Auckland. Driver didn't look very relaxed? (I hope Meremere didn't have anything to do with it!) She's a pretty special car. The owner is a forum member and has an incredible collection of 8ers (including the M8 replica you may have seen racing and both Alpina variants). The car you saw has also had Jeremy Clarkson's fat arse in it.

kulgan 1042 Report post Posted November 14, 2015 I'm Jelous. Had to drop my son over to Halcome yesterday. Parked on the side of the road are 2 740i's, 2 750il's a E36 328i coupe and a 850i all in the same driveway. I stopped and knocked on the door but nobody was home. I'm wondering what BMW they where out in..lol I'll be heading back in a few days so will stop in again. Wanted to take a pic or 2 but didn't feel right taking pics of someones house and driveway. I'll ask if theres someone home next time. Was a nice collection though.

kulgan 1042 Report post Posted November 27, 2015 (edited) Drove past again so I thought I'd be cheeky and take a couple of pics. A 740i, 740il and 750il, a E36 328i AC Schnitzer and a 850i. Am I jealous? Hell yeah I am. Loving the stance on that silver 750il too. Edited November 27, 2015 by kulgan

M3AN 4016 Report post Posted November 29, 2015 McLaren P1 - well I'm not sure if it was a P1 or a 675 or a 570 because they all look so similar but I think we only have a P1 in NZ - northbound on the Southern motorway today. Glorious in white. Didn't take a pic because, well, driving.

Glorious in white. Didn't take a pic because, well, driving. Think we have 2 or 3 P1s unless one has been sold to overseas (think it may have been). They were (IIRC) Orange and 2 black. Most likely a

E30 325i Rag-Top 2957 Report post Posted December 14, 2015 Saw this at Hampton Downs yesterday, never seen it before. Well kitted out 135i, with an add-on 1M kit for the bigger arches. Half cage inside, with terra-trip and intercom gear, etc. so possibly set up as a Targa car? Looked bloody awesome in the sun!
kulgan 1042 Report post Posted December 17, 2015 Poor picture quality because of my ph but followed this E38 all the way from Wanganui to Auckland on the weekend of the ECC meet. The owner shall remain nameless. Andy. Woops. In true Bond style throwing out a smoke screen.
