Its amazing how much coffee comes out of things, the corolla for instance didnt look that dirty previously.. its just the interior has changed shade a few colours! Have a hoover standup carpet cleaner as well, and its rubbish... Just ordered one yesterday - I'll be brewing my own filthy carpet blend soon

E30 325i Rag-Top 2956 Report post Posted July 19, 2018 Has been a bit quiet on the car front recently thanks to a long lasting head cold and the four-yearly disctraction of the World Cup. Did a run down to Hawke's Bay to pick up the latest BMW addition to the family, now got the old's e87 116d on the drive so we now have five beemers for four family members! Plan is for the Mrs to have the 1er for her daily and sell the 330d wagon as five cars is probably a bit too many. On the run back from HB I did manage to get the fuel range indicator on the 320d Touring to over 1,000kms of range - high score was 1,022kms thanks to a full tank of fuel and an efficient open road drive in Eco Pro mode! Ordered some ebay grills as the one on the pick-a-part car were both wrecked. Build goal judging on above parts - who knows

M3AN 4016 Report post Posted July 19, 2018 Andrew we all know you can only do a round trip to your letterbox on a full tank! I often wonder how many fuel stops you have to make to get to the coffee meet.

I managed 12xx on the last tank in the x5 with a wee bit to spare after I did that run to yours/Auckland The range meter only goes to 999 though because it's a dirty German pessimist. My 540 on the boil used just over 45L to go Hastings to Taupo race track... Easy 800km in the work x5 yesterday towing some junk, ticked over 415,000km Some pics for no good reason, took Donald to the beach. And then panicked about rust and went home

aja540i 1906 Report post Posted July 20, 2018 okay, fixed the misfire in the M5, still not sure how, swapped the ionic detection modules and the misfire didn't move so swapped the coils on cyl 6 & 7, misfire is gone! I will enjoy it while it lasts. 2
