We've rented this one, 12.8mx10m not too bad. nowhere near houses - has a massive open yard since it's one of a few workshops for testing M52 E30's and sh*t.

haha, Dad won't get europlates :( at least now it can get it's roof fixed and transmission sorted, it won't stay in reverse. It's exceptionally fun to drive.

New powerflex B sport (the black ones) bushes all around (thrust arm as well as sway bars F/R), new rear intergal links along with a full BMW service.

Car feel very different now. Before there was a slight 'uneasy' floating feeling like I wasn't quite sure if it would stick or not when pushing hard.

Not anymore. Same road. 4 days apart.

Wonderful upgrade.

Sooo chasing gearbox overheating issues in the 540. Ended up swapping out the gearbox after trying everything else in the gearbox cooling system. Seems one of the journals was clogged.

Anyways, car now has low K engine and low K gearbox. Now has to be one of the most immaculate 540 motorsport in the country haha, Long live trouble free motoring.

And again thanks to Ray for sussing this all out and having the patience to work this out with me.

Used my shopping basket and cut down a huge tree.

Also put my new wheels on, but the fronts don't bloody fit! Need spacers.

wheel swap today...

Not sure if I like style 5s on the e28 but with a drop I think the e34 would look awesome on the RS's

Have been getting "no disk" on cd stacker since recent trackday. Took stacker apart , re-lubbed and adjusted cd load worm gear. Reinstalled and all good hopefully for another 10 years.

Discovered the E39 has left hand drive wiper sweep.

I had a female passenger point that out; "Hey - your wipers are backwards!"

They work really well though.

Went looking for why the s50 is running rich, found O2 boss is sitting out too far and both sensors aren't in the exhaust stream at all.

Time for some reweld work.

Drove the Eferty to Newmarket with 3 other big guys in the car, the rear wheels had a 2cm clearance with the wheel arches (but thankfully we made it safely without injuries).

The pipes however had seen better days than today, had to get someone off the car just to get through the gates back home :|

Time to get flatter pipes
