Hi all, thought I’d make an account after seeing a bit of talk about my M3 (RASPY). Not usually the type to join forums as I never have the time to be as active as I should but here goes nothing... 😆 just moved to a new phone so don’t have many detailed pics of my car(s) but rest assured I’ll upload some on the next sunny day.

cheers. mostly just tidying it up a bit underneath, needs some suspension parts (rack ends, lower control arms etc.) in order to do a proper wheel alignment. other than that its already how id do an M3, would love to do open ITBS but not sure if its worth it. might do ITBS on one of my E30s instead..

Does anyone have a straight, Titan Siver boot-lid they'd part with?

Ace. I'd start at $35k if it were mine. It's 3.0, probably important for people that can't recognise them. Is that a factory rear wing (i.e. installed before driving off the lot)? If so, that's an uber option! It's NZ registration is a mess... says it's a 3.2 when it's a 3.0, and it's a Coupe and Saloon... nice one BMW. 🙄 Lots of registration changes in 2017 which seem odd, 14 private owners? Original interior was not as it sits now, originally came with cloth/amaretta seats and wood trim so a complete swap. Also looks like the rear parcel tray has been redone so hopefully the headliner also. It's a great looking car, hope it gets lots of interest, GLWS!

Heaps more room. Half way there to ripping her out Won't be able to complete until next week anyway as I need to have another attempt at the front main seal. Going to have to make a tool to send it in, not buying the OEM tool for it ... Cause o m g $$

I just want to thank promo for his fast turnaround of my ECU tune. I posted it to him on Monday, he tuned it on Tuesday and I received it back at lunchtime today. The car feels great with the remap, well impressed - pulls like a train. I do love the shove from these 330d's!

I'm not across the detail of the E21 market values, in general I do see that there isn't the same kind of love for the E21 versus the whole E30 love-in that seems to be going on, whether that is enough to outweigh the lack of supply of E21, with fewer made, more crashed (tail happy 323i) and worse rust issues, i'm not sure. This one does look to have been well thought out and executed, probably cost a heap more than the asking to get done - so would be good for the seller to get close to asking.

Absolutely stunning interior colour. Much nicer than white or cream.

Finally happy with the body is work was looking at rhs with some newly learned technique's casting shadows and sanding it with some longer firmer blocks found a few more areas that were really taking the definition away from the line. Was hard to see in photos but in the flesh it was pretty obvious when you run your eyes over it from different angles. I bit down on the mouth piece and slugged out a few more small filler > primer > guide coat > sanding runs and have got it to something I'm signing off on. Doing it at night is ironically ideal at the moment as the shadows under the line are really apparent and you can sand to better shape it and sharpen it up. I sealed it off with some left over base coat from another car and the proof is in the pudding she is looking Sharp, and also no strange reactions with the remnants of 1k primer I was dealing with so that's a relief. Sure there are some areas that I know about that I know to be slightly off but good luck finding them with the eye once paint is on. One hell of a learning journey for me with body work. Started to clean up the dust everywhere, bonnet is primered for a sand down, and I'm moving onto the rest of the car now which is just sand down with 400 grit as I've delt to all dents.

Well I'm pretty much happy with that. Glad I did the LHS C PILLAR it would have definitely bugged me with the ripple in it. Painted the diffuser black, that white was bland as hell. Before After

Using the weekend to go gun-ho on things Spent about 4 hours on the bumper today. Did what I could with the heat gun to get it near enough, cable ties in place to test fit and check it all mounts nicely. Fibre glassing took some time as I chewed through my 40grit sand paper supply Did it by hand as I didn't have an orbital with soft backing and 40grit discs Pretty happy with it, light years from what it was

Originally, I wasn't sure how I wanted to finish the backs of the front seats. I was thinking about covering them in a black material, but ended up just using the leather pieces that came with the seat kit that I got earlier. Not perfect, but I'm happy enough with the result. The interior work is almost complete.

Mines a race car. So lots has been changed around. But I think the badges are correct. I don't think it ever had 535i badges on the back. Just the M badge.
