    Looking great My opinion, for what it's worth - looks better with the OEM alloys. I reacon they suit the E12/21 cars style best. Edit: Slightly lowered of course

  5. Surprises me that you can't find a place with a steam cleaner. Just get a couple of cans of degreaser, spray on & hose off with nozzle on squirt. I fit is fresh oil - it will come off easy enough. If not - will do with more degreaser & leaving a while to soak in. Edit: Obviously start with a clean engine to be able to identify the source
  6. Exhaust vibration could develop after running time. When hot the pipe expands quite substantialy in length. Look for a close fit length wise - eg muffler
  7. Umm dunno but I certainly wouldn't leave it like that... Exhaust auto - manual is no different from memory, bracketing to box may vary - can't recall 1 spigot bearing - yup

  13. Have they checked it on live data? Leaking injectors - only real way - as I mentioned above & Yes, leaking injectors can cause a starting issue by flooding the engine while stationary - not saying this is your issue though. Ign coils possibly. Can they - above, not fix the issue?

  15. Have you had the car properly scanned by someone who knows what they are up to? This is first port of call. Only real way to clean injectors is to remove them & run in an injector machine where you can flush, monitor flow rate, spray pattern & check for leak down. Then an ultra sonic bath to dissolve any build up, rekit with new seals & filter baskets & refit.

  17. You need to confirm if pre or F/L car - the lamps differ between. Also, are you after just the lenses? You may have trouble trying to get those as a separate part

It is not hard to diagnose with the right knowledge/tools. Also, running without thermostat - as Glenn has said - a no no

  22. ^^^ Probable compliance problems - may be the issue the 7 unanswered questions are alluding to Nice looking car though, they have come back to me. I remember seeing one (same colour from memory) at the car show in Auckland in 1990 or 91 & thinking WOW! A few years later thinking they were somewhat dated. Race car... to good for, but then again - maybe all it' good for...
  23. Style 31...umm nup! Replaced them with style 65 Although not yesteday when I hit a hole & majorly flat spotted both L/H & F#@ked a new tyre too. Luckily, after looking very doubtful, a clever man was able to straighten them today, so he tells me CSL rim, style 5 & a few others. Shite BMW made some hideous wheels too
