US$1,830 - ouch! http://racehead.com.au/products-page/throttle-body-kits/bmw-m50-52-itb-kit/
-
Why would red seat belts be illegal if they're an OEM part? That aside, a guy in the US is making some high quality repro ones that I have my eye on, won't be available this year though (same guys that repro'd all of the M fabric and that stuff is perfect). Mirrors look way less cool than the factory M ones IMHO.

I think that eBay sump is dual pickup... but $$$... https://www.eeuroparts.com/blog/5615/diy-motorsports-oil-system-upgrade-e36-bmws/

You have baby baffles, this is what you need: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-E36-M3-3-0-S50-ENGINE-GROUP-N-RACING-SUMP-PAN-GENUINE-BMW-/322336807879 But of course just get aftermarket baffles and weld them in to your existing sump. And B32 pump has dual pickups, you need that too.

Spanner (13mm), hammer and the BMW special tool (M version) is all that's needed. I could probably sort it in a weekend. But I am pretty ace.

^ Nice. Pretty much any tyre you want will fit. Take the sizes of your current ones and run with that.
-
Doesn't even look tinted from those pics. How's the radio reception with them?
-
Yay! Got a warrant so I could also renew her license! All legal now. Gearbox next, need to call Glenn.
-
I'm not guessing but I'd like to know the facts(ish).
-
Low 15's if you improve the RT and tbh ~88 km/h isn't bad... I'd be pretty happy with that as a start actually.
-
Will you elaborate or do you enjoy being evasive? Are your insights somehow top secret?
-
This thread will get big fast...
-
What did you do with the rear spoiler? Can't read the tickets, what did you pull, terminal and RT?
-
Block plug is easy.
-
If you can't turn the heater on you'll need to flush that separately which should be as simple as removing the heat control valve and pumping water through it. Not sure how you can flush the block properly without removing the drain plug and removing or opening the thermostat... why can't you remove those?

k?

Wow. That's a dude that has the tools and knows his trade. That would be as straight as any custom or hot rod out there. But no. Just no.
-
Wow, really? OMG. If you've done this properly then it's an epic effort and good props. Looking forward to the pics.

Early e36 325i with zf manual transmission information
M3AN replied to BMRBOI's topic in General Discussion
I asked that question the other week and was told in the case of the 5 speed the ZF is stronger and more desirable. -
^ Where did you get the refurb kit?

"...for the, frankly inferior, E46 M3 CSL..." I think he's doing the CSL quite the disservice there. An E30 M3 would be fun but the CSL is an animal.
-
I accept and agree with what you're saying Jon but the impact can't have been that great if none of the airbags or the bonnet bolts fired right? Surely not enough to dismount the engine or bend a rail?
-
I'll take the Guibo, could be keen on the exhaust as well.
-
"I didn't think it was possible to sh*t yourself to death." - the child in me found that amusing. It's just a Top Gear reboot replica, no better, no worse IMHO. Will be interesting to see how it goes without a mainstay British audience.
-
Not sure how to read the dash - could be as low as ~5k kms? Wonder why it has been written off? Airbags and bonnet didn't even fire. If that's the state of news cars, not economical to repair, after apparently moderate impacts then wow.
