I still think we can inflate the prices if we all advertise at the same time. Autospot is trying for sure. A bunch of $16-18K 135i's all listed in the mid 20's.

So good news. Only 80% of the sh*t jobs they did last year need repairing this year..... You should see the roads in the Wairarapa already. Only after a few hot weekends many of the roads are just bleeding tar. The logging trucks have absolutely rooted the roads that have had fresh chip dumped on them out toward castle point. I am glad that muppet Twyford is gone. But I bet it is just "Here's the new boss, same as the old boss". https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/national/433287/motorists-should-expect-delays-travelling-to-holiday-hotspots-this-summer

Exactly. When I was selling my E30 I just replied with please call 021****** Though that was via email as I didn't run an auction. Not one person who emailed me followed up with a phone call. The guy that purchased it called me while I was in the US.

Yeah it's posted in the 130i thread. Silly money.
-
Also a cluster swap on a Singapore car.. We all know what that means.
-
I would buy a 540 touring. Swap all the good bits from yours into it.
-
Yeah I am pretty sure this has been broken rather than just perishing. The other hoses I have looked at seem fine. I mean loose bolts and a rag to replace a mount suggests a muppets been under the bonnet.
-
Can you put a price up as per forum rules please.
-
It depends on what hoses came with the water pump kit. Some do. Its the top hose engine side that is broken. Right next to the alternator. The hose got a little damaged when it fell onto the alternator pulley. I think the aluminium replacement is for somewhere else isn't it?
-
Well I am placing an order through FCP if anyone down this way is keen for some bits. Want to place it by the end of tomorrow so PM me if keen. Also do you think this is the rubber mount I am missing? The one the rag replaced... https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw-rubber-buffer-13717539903#reviews

When they renew their service team we might see a change. Currently it's the same people.

Makes sense. Something to be aware of heading into summer. I think I am going to refresh the entire cooling system. Even though all the hoses look in good condition this one had a little hidden secret. The damage in the hose was where it was touching the belt after it came off. Now do I do the water pump while I'm at it..
-
Oh and my rubber grommet from where the airbox sits is gone and replaced with a piece of f**king rag....
-
I'm very pissed off. Cars only been back from Winger a week or so. The Mrs calls me from the top of the Remutakas to tell me a hose totally blew off and it's dumped all its coolant. It was sudden so she didn't drive hot etc. Just got it towed and met her. Pop Bonnet and can see the top hose by the alternator is off. Go to take out the airbox and find all the bolts are loose. Airflow meter clamp not tight. Then I find why it popped off. Its broken. Now what would cause this? Someone leaning on it? Over tightened?

How to add cruise control 1999 Z3 2.8

There is quite a few retrofit guides covering the Z3's on that site. -
How to add cruise control 1999 Z3 2.8
Driftit replied to topnotchrally's topic in General Discussion
This is for a different motor. But the rest of the gear will be the same. https://zroadster.org/threads/cruise-control-retrofit.20484/ Also Brent has a good parts car for you. -
Shook my head through this dribble yesterday. I feel like this guy drives a Mazda 6 and thinks it's the best car in the world. And it actually is the best car he has driven.
-
That is 135i money. But you would get a better 135 for that.
-
If I had stayed in the US I was going to buy a sedan version for $5000usd. (Don't think they got the wagon). It needed it's valve stem seals replaced. Had done around 60,000 miles. The owner was very pissed off and wanted it gone. It was great to drive. But bloody embarrassing when you are sitting at the lights for more than a min. I honestly thought about dumping a bunch of magic as seen on tv sh*t into it and selling it to carmax. But Karma would have tracked me down for sure. I also hired a manual 550i E60 for a few days to go to bimmerfest east. It had the exact same problem. Different motors though aren't they?
-
Was just thinking about that on the weekend. Done.
-
Yup it was. Very few have them. They are just stuck on with 3m tape though, so easy to put one on if you want one.

People who are told that's what they should be paying. Just like everyone on bringatrailer.

Help! New to the E30 platform - what to look out for
Driftit replied to hyperreal's topic in General Discussion
Just be aware that what you would have paid 2K for 5 years ago, you will now pay 10K for. They are a collectors car now. The days of the cheap fun bang for buck driving machine are gone. -
Laughable @ $15k. Turners was once a place you would go to buy a cheap mystery car which had been dumped due to it's many problems or it's owner inability to pay for it any longer. They took the cheap part of it away.

Ah yes the one with the LTW stickers. A replica of an inferior model.. I never understood that. Brent has a US engine you could swap in to make it closer to a real LTW.
