I'm still waiting for a part to arrive for my recall. A part that you can buy from ANY BMW parts website around the world. I can't wait to be mucked around by BMW Wellington again. I think it has been around 4 or so months now. Bet they charged BMW for it though.

That whole website is a joke. The prices are ridiculous.

Yup I think I will line up Zen3 with a 6800. Gives me a good amount of time to watch real life benchmarks until the 8th of December for it's release.

I might have a browse during digital Monday or Black Friday. But prob in the US rather than here. I need another monitor though. And that I will sadly have to buy here due to size. Currently have a Asus ROG PG278QR which has been awesome.

I'm waiting until the new year. I'm trying to get my hands on a bunch of 3080's at the moment for people at work. I'm still rocking a 6700k too. It's doing it's job. The 1070 FTW however is getting a big behind the times. Oddly I have a machine my old man is using with a 4790 in it. I was going to give AMD a go next.

Cheers. That's a job for me. I picked up some cheap no brand ones from Trademe for $40 delivered. But I am going to order some Osram ones through Amazon/Dip Bag to replace them. Will look at the Angle eye replacements for color matching after xmas.

I'm sure I know that GT Auto source guy from my Nissan days. How hard are they to change out on an E87. I have lent my car to my brother in law who will need to change them.

One of my low beam D1S bulbs has died in my E87. Are there any recommendations as to what I should replace them with or upgrade to? So far its these with a staff discount. https://www.repco.co.nz/en/globes-batteries-electrical/globes-lighting/globes-bulbs/narva-d1s-hid-pk32d-2-5000k-globe-12-or-24v-35w-49306/p/A1212361

Yeah they were good fun. My partner still has her S13 200sx. Though she is thinking of selling it and buying a E82 135i and letting someone else who has time to play with the S13.

4 x 180sx Type X's ST205 GT-Four - low kms and immaculate 97 WRX RA - low kms and immaculate 84 Soarer MZ10 2.8gt Manual All of my E30's (only to make money on, don't actually miss them other than my series car) There is probably others. I have more regrets not buying certain cars when I could. But mostly because of their perceived value now rather than how they actually perform. Don't drive your heroes. 32 GTR, I'm looking at you.

It's pretty much how I drove around America.

If you get too lazy I will take that Cruise control setup off your hands. I've been meaning to source one as I spend 90% of my driving time on the open road.

Why do these people need to comment?

That plate looks crap. The grill frames it and makes it stand out way more than any other car on the road. BMW's ugly Mustang.
-
Can you get away with something that could at least be fun in some other way? I have a Daihatsu Rocky 2.8td. It's pretty sh*t. But it goes anywhere and has a ton of space. It's my beach/fishing/parts vehicle.
-
It takes a lot of patience to Audi.
-
Plate being blurred out tells me the vehicle is probably stolen and they don't want everyone going after the actual owner of the vehicle. My bet is on gang members.
-
That is actually a really good guide.
-
With no mention of previous damage
-
I'm curious if your brakes are the same that are on the 135i. And what BMW would quote for that car.
-
Somebody tucked you. The best race pads installed by a no armed mechanic charging $150 per hour wouldn't cost that.
-
Have said this since 2003 when the frontal impact laws and liability laws changed for damaged vehicles. All that happens is the vehicle is marked as damaged upon import. Whilst you need an engineers report to re-vin the car. You don't have to give that to anyone afterwards. And anyone with it can not hand it to anyone else without permission. Fun times. It's a game of how well you can hide the repair. M cars are a hard one. They could have been written off because they couldn't find an bonnet and bumper. But also and prob more likely is that they are a sports car and were crashed being driven hard.

Had to do this quite often when I was driving the 1km to the train station last year. Tap Tap = Lifter Tick Tick = Injector Knock Knock = Who's there? Mr Big End Bearing.
-
I would go for the NZ new one too. Recently been driving around in a modern diesel manual and then immediately an auto version of that same vehicle. I was towing a trailer in a hilly area and the auto was just hassle free. The short power band made me feel like I was changing gear far too often in the manual. And it was just a hassle in traffic. Are they accessible to take for test drives? Experience it for yourself. There are others on here that swear by manuals for every task. Auto's are not what they used to be. And the flappy paddles in the BMW's are great. Even in my old 130i.

"Hi even with a blown engine this car is very cheap, any reason for sale?" Ok then...
