Do I need that little spoiler? I think so. Anyone know the make? All these nice Air intakes. Also mine is an LCI with Hydraulic steering. I never driven one with the electric steering. Wonder what they are like.

Send them an email. Much of the M30 stuff is make to order these days.

It's only value would be what people would pay for PFL E39 parts now I guess. Which wouldn't be much. The owner missed the E39 boom from 10 years back.

VAC or Ireland Engineering is best for rocker upgrades. You may want to look at upgraded springs, caps and locking collars too.

People are buying verts in this condition for 10K or less in the US and stripping them for parts for their projects. Nobody wants the verts over there. Though they have way too many of them.

The issue is traffic. The last time I tried driving any of those roads they were busy on the weekends. And that was a good 6 years ago. Maybe covid has quietened things down?
-
They used to. Do you mean the alternatives posted?

South of the Bombay Hills is always good. ? Heading towards Kaiaua around the Coast is nice. Everywhere else I used to drive is built up and busy now.

You would be surprised how many people hate them. Especially down here with the out of touch. "Bloody people with those LED lights (pronounced 'Lead' like the element). They are too bright so I high beam them as they go past" I get high beam flashed at least a few times a week by idiot farmers who are happy with their candle powered sh*t old H4's that are shaking so bad and so poorly aligned it gives people on the ISS epileptic fits. I just high beam them back now. Sick of it. Went right out of my way to make sure my lights are perfectly aligned.

Only 8k more than what it was offered to @leichtbau for.

No longer able to copy car photos off TradeMe

I have seen this guy too. Has to be a car dealer. waste of time. he was hours late to pick the car up. although he had bought the car he refused to pay, tried to negotiate, then left. Clicked buy now without talking to us or looking at the car, showed up to pick up and decided he didn't want it. Waste of time. Looks like he has done that a few times by others feedback. Buyer would not pay for car without driving. Although it was explained to him that the car is not insured so he can’t drive before payment. if he doesn’t want the car I will happily give him back his cash. Refused to pay. Never trade with this guy. Don’t ever do buy now if you’re a game player Mucked me around with pick up time was over 2 hours late with poor communication. -

Didn't know this was all happening. Though I never hid my hatred for the dumpster fire that is trademe, I didn't expect them to make it even worse. Or did I? No I did, it's absolute trash. -
I have that cover and a net for the boot floor. Was wondering what the net was for.

It will be to direct traffic to them. Scammers will just save the picture. Also might be to stop requests after the auctions have ended and the pictures no longer exist on their servers. But yeah it it is annoying. -
If you want a supercharged V8 from that Era you want an E55 AMG. Also half the price or less than the Alpina and keeping the "pros" of a supercharger, V8 and slushbox. More Availability of parts and massive potential for more power if you wish. Now old Alpinas like the E34 B10 Turbo. Yes please.

I actually couldn't believe it. Even the sales person found it odd.

My AA Insurance didn't come with AA... So I said I was going to someone else and they gave it to me for free for both roadworthy cars.
-
For those moments I would recommend an AA membership. It's worth the extra handful of takeaway coffees a year.

Waterpumps will start throwing codes when they are on their way out so not usually a surprise moment. Lifters just need 3 mins at 3000rpm to bleed. Valvetronic motors and the seal need doing at some stage (cheap and easy) Rocket cover gaskets weep Coil packs will die (cheap and easy) But yeah get the 3ltr if you have the option. Purely because the 2.5 saves you nothing bar maybe some cash up front. I also feel you need to be pedantic with servicing. But that should be a BMW ownership thing anway.

Changed the title to reflect the actual problem. Confirmed the Service and Lubegaurd has sorted the issue 100% for now. Lets see how long it lasts. So far 1000kms of testing.

Just follow the 130i post in the Trademe section of the forums. Every half decent 130i gets posted in there. So much going on. Accidental Purchases. Full Trademe ad analysis'. All sorts.

I didn't miss NZ at all. I enjoyed having a city that had actual seasons. Not just warm rain, cold rain, sunburn. DC is greener, cheaper, more interesting, has more to do, more diverse and just as easy to escape to the wilderness. Great car scene, easy cheap travel, tons of sport every night of the week. And none of the Murica sh*t the NZ media feeds you unless you go looking for it. The reason I'm here in NZ now? I had a 5 year diplomatic visa than ran out. And lots of elderly to spend time with while I can.
