40% off deal on some oils including Castrol 5-30 LL if you are still using that. Not that great anymore as the standard price of it has gone up. https://www.supercheapauto.co.nz/oils-fluids-filters/engine-oil?prefn1=id&prefv1=359325|666285|293837|631766|518962#primary

On a level back from this I have been having copilot write me code for automotive gauges using Arduino. Works quite well. Just have to get some decent LCD's that are the size I want. Kinda cool for the 200sx as the LCD's look quite retro. I have just been using some from work to test on. I watched a video recently of someone building a LCD dashboard from scratch to replace his Mitsi Starion digital dash. Looking at how simple the MAPECU is in my E34. More modern code should be able to handle that junk easily.

No the oil goes to 50% off often at both Supercheap and Repco. Keep an eye here for the oil deals If you see one post it up.

Cheers. Was just looking at a listing on FB marketplace. Might still be an okay deal having to buy one new tyre. https://www.facebook.com/share/HiThE8ih8LFaW1au/

Is This Where The E30 Market Is Now..?
Driftit replied to E30 325i Rag-Top's topic in TradeMe discussions
Not at all. But then you read comments like this... Just wanted to say what a lovely e30 factory example very clean , cannot believe it hasn’t sold yet at a very reasonable price . Best of luck with the sale someone will get a great investment for the future 👍🏻 -
What tyre sizes are those with the Style 207 rims running? I see they are meant to be 205/50 and 225/45. Wondering if I just find some wheels like on my other 130i which are 18" style 269 which are 8 and 8.5's. I feel like the 17's are just too narrow for a 130. Comparison between my 130 with 17's and my 130 with 18's.

Over 20k EUR to fly it to Germany. Wow. Good to hear Misha says he likes the Chassis.

Its James one. Used to host the server.

Yeah it was mentioned somewhere in this thread. Though there has to be a cause as mine lives outside and I have never had a problem with water ingress.

Do you go under your leaf so you don't have to look at the top of your leaf?
-
Hmm very interested in this. Still following the guys in the US with the ITB kit too.
-
Just had mine out. It is doable but I wouldn't want to do it on the ground. Driveshaft out would give you more room too.
-
How are you liking the system?

Anywhere that specializes in performance wheels and tyres. Hyperdrive deal with big rims all day. The standard tyre shops don't usually have quality equipment to protect nice and more fragile rims.

Ha no I think the one I have was actually a gift to my dad back in the late 80s early 90s. It had a base once. Mine actually has a slight chip in it. It was all around the time llardro was a big thing too.

I have the same one.

Sorry I worded this poorly. I'm not looking to use the basics like adblockers, browsers, and other search engines. The example I gave was to show that Brave is in fact not blocking all ad's like suggested. I'm wanting to block Temu from my existence without breaking crap like googles search engine, instagram, snapchat etc. (for the sake of others on my network e.g. wife) I'm looking at pihole or NextDNS running on my ubiquity UDM (the rabbit hole). pihole doesn't seem to do well with sponsored ads in apps as well as I hoped.
-
It's the sponsored section that annoys me. It is creeping its way in everywhere now. Need to remove myself from the google world. Which is not all that easy. E.g. Android phone. Brave doesn't save you anymore. Google keeps finding a way around it. Or they break it so you have to turn off some features to make it work. I probably hate Temu a little too much. Like as much as I hate Ford Rangers on rural roads. A bit concerning.
-
Temu is there too. It's annoying when you want suggestions. But the only suggestions given are from one company peddling absolute sh*t.
-
Yup. I did the same with the extensions. I tilted the engine back as far as possible. But those top two bolts are absolutely the worst I've dealt with on any cars gearbox. Even with the hoist it was still not enjoyable.
-
Finally took the 130 for a run with it's new single mass flywheel conversion. That is one heavy gearbox to lift in on your own! I also removed the soft valve thing (#13) . Took forever to bleed the system. Even with a power bleeder. In the end the save was removing the slave and bleeding it whilst the bleed nip was at the top then reinstalling it. If you are using a power bleeder do not touch the clutch pedal at all. I'm still running the clutch in but it feels great. Good pedal feedback and clutch engagement is obvious. It is a lot sharper than the DM flywheel and fully wound out auto adjusting clutch I removed. I'm happy with it. Will get this car on the track soon.

The cancer that is Temu and Google. Currently down a rabbit hole of blocking any search result that includes the Internet Cancer that is Temu. Without breaking google totally to block their sponsored Temu results is quite the task.

KiwiRail video shows train smashing into car on rail crossing in North Island | Stuff Nice 130i got smoked by a train last year down the road from my work. Took out all our crossing monitoring equipment too (the white boxes on the right). Girl was apparently on her phone.
