    Quick rant thread.

50-60kg is fine. I have the battery behind the passenger seat so that will bring our weight up to be about 50/50. Its all about the balance. Off to the south auckland clinic for a MRI Scan. So expect a rant in about three hours. haha

Ha. I enjoy finding cars for people. I am not looking for a cheap women, looking for an independent women with a busy life, a high libedo and appreciation of night out / in. It's not that big a ask, I mean NZ women have more "partners" on average than most other nations. It's easy to find a one night stand, but it's time consuming and not that great a quality. Too pragmatic? And near all women have " not DTF " on Tinder. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Women vs Men. Why can't we just deal with situations on the same level. Wanted. A fit women who is available for dinner, wine, and sex one or two nights a week with no commitments, drama or false hopes... From a guys point of view, the romance is in the time I don't see the person, so once or twice a week builds romance. Not upset, just annoyed that I now have to go through the whole process again, its exhausting being nice and having to remember things, i.e., small dogs name, small child's name, other facts. haha It always turns out this way...

    'THE' M3...

Her insurance should cover all costs. Thats why she had insurance. What is annoying, is that your insurance company should be doing this work for you. Try to take emotions out of the situation and ask yourself, would Donald Trump take no for an answer? Then hang up, and walk around telling people they are fired. LIKE A BOSS.
  6. Thats my plan... had brought the land already, but sold it late last year. About to put my other property on the market, has increased 60k in 6 months. I can buy a nice house in Taupo or surrounding area's freehold, maybe rent it out as an investment and travel for a bit. Exciting times, kind of glad I spent my 20's working hard.. time to be a 33 year old 23 year old.

    'THE' M3...

Unfortunately it doesn't work like that. The best way torpor it the way you want is to have it written off and then buy it back and repair it yourself. I have done this before and it worked out. In your case. Car value = $28,000 Repair cost through Insurance: $20,000 So written off you get $28,000 Buy back of "wreck" = $12,000 Actual repair cost through your contacts = $10,000 Take holiday in sun with balance and profit. Or. Take $28,000 and buy another nice E46 M3.

A shame, there are plenty of M3's out there though, personally I would rather a non crashed car than one that has been repaired, from experience, they are never the same if you are fussy. I always push for it to be written off. If it is written off and you chose to buy it back and repair it, keep in mind it will be de-registered and you will have to go through that process. Good luck either way.
  9. Can we hear it please. It makes Evolution 9's sound like WW3 is going on in the forest. I love it!
  10. Hi. Guessing its about 2010. Current shape, non facelift.
  11. No. I hear the Ford Rangers can be a PITA too. The Hilux I use is at 150,000km and has never had an issue, must have been a good one. I have only used it to tow my race car, have driven it as far as the bottom of the south island and back and it was bullet proof, sure it is a bit gutless but it is solid as a rock in every way. The Hilux has for the first time in history lost its place as the number 1 selling ute recently so it is well time for a new one. I look forward to it.
  12. The beauty of the Hilux is, its still a simple truck.. drive one with 300,000km on it, it will still feel solid. And as gutless as they are, they can tow all day no fuss. And.. ask a driver of a high millage euro diesel how much his new fuel pump cost him when it f**ked out. I would still take a Hilux over any ute, they are just built better than anything else.

The human body. Mine is failing me. My hip is stuffed, my back is stuffed and my noes hair is growing at an exponential rate whilst the hair on my head is starting to thin. And I am only 33. Also. Auckland house prices. I am not sure I can afford to buy my own house of my EX wife as it had doubled in value in the last 5 years... and if I can't I can not afford to buy another house... and rent is crazy! I have always liked Tauranga.
  14. Its a fun job, have done it a couple of times myself. Good if you have a couple of people.. its so frantic that it is over before it began. Might see you there, I am co-driving the Java Team Racing Audi RS4.
  15. My neighbour as a kid had that exact looking car. Was done by BMW NZ and he had it new. Was lush. Had 18" wheels when 16" wheels were considered big. I wonder where it ended up. I knew that blue interior would look good all cleaned up. Keep up the good work.. Is it bad I am actually jealous that you get to clean it, its quite enjoyable taking years of crap off a car.
  16. They are good, a lot of mates use them for things, they did a set of my wheels and they were a good price + service. After having a crack at it myself, I can say 90% of it is in the prep work, spend 90 hours prepping my van. More plugging for Manukau Auto Center.
  17. Can recommend Manukau Auto Centre, ask for Dan and say Graham sent you, he will look after you. They have painted a few of my cars. Facelifted my car, new bumper, lights, painted both sides, front bumpercover and bonnet… also blacked out wheels and door handel. My race car, full respray, two tone… don’t look at the panel work too close though. Haha

I had a guy test drive my E60 down the off ramp a few years back, picked him up from the Airport and we took off, was very funny. He did buy the car at asking price though so I wasn't complaining too much.
  21. Funny, getting the second valuation done on my property tomorrow, bank said I needed a new one even though I had one done end of last year, the women said properties have increased in value upto 20k in that short time! Off topic, sorry team. You can have a manual, but not in the top trim with the 125kw engine.. thats whats annoying me. And if I want one I have to wait 4 months... but that means I can option proximity key. leather is an expensive option, as is Xenon lights, just gotta figure if I would get the money back when I sell it in 3-5 years. They can tow 2100kg braked, they drive like a car, and can actually go off road reasonably well. Spent a long time trying to find the true all rounder that can tow my rally car and haul stuff for work without going to a ute like every other wanker in this town. Am driving the top spec one tomorrow with the DSG, was offered a very good deal on it pre registered.
  22. Yes. Its common. That new Cayman GT4 is a masterpiece of a car though, about time! Holden vs HSV, back when the VE come out, we had a SS and a Clubsport on the dyno next to each other, power was within 15kw but on paper should have been 50kw. FPV underrated the F6 Turbo as it was cannibalising the GT V8. A lot a re guilty of it. I know other brands claim lower figures on paper when they launch a new model as to allow for gradual increases in power claims when the facelift and update cars through a cycle... Renault are good at it, RS250, RS265 then RS275, all have around 270-280bhp. My Rally car stock standard made the same power at the wheels that it was supposed to have at the engine stock. Hell, even the mundane Skoda Yeti I am currently looking at purchasing has some strange figures, two diesel models, exactly the same engine, one has 103kw and the other 125kw. ECU tune? VW group seem to do that across the range and brands, a lot of cars with the same engine yet different power. Its gotta be better than back in the day when nothing had near the power claimed though.
  23. Im thinking its the M models that keep the lesser models power figures down on paper. Nothing new in the industry. Spotted a 5 Series GT towing the biggest caravan I have ever seen last week too. They must have mega tow ratting.
  24. True. I passed a E28 525e up the Bombays on Saturday. They are a 2.7ltr. Best of all I was in a 1.2ltr and he could keep with me.. Then he shot past me on the down hill with that victory move. Didn't look too bad TBH. I just wish BMW were honest with the power outputs, the 328i must have more like 280bhp if you look at its numbers. I also think the 335i/340i should have close to 400bhp.
  25. I like the little sections that give the rear a flat floor with the seats folded... a lot of modern manufacturers could learn a thing or two. Cool car. Someone buy it and put a 13B in it.
