  1. Finally had a drive of the new Pigani Hyora (s) hardest car to control so far, way too much power! Progressing through the game, have not had to modify any cars yet, my favorite to drive so far is the Aston Martin Vantage V12, very nicely balanced car.
  2. Ha, the GT3 is a few levels up the performance rung. This is a flexible GT, not a track racer. If you want to crunch numbers Nissan manage 0-100 a full two seconds faster for the same money as a M4, some very stiff competition in that price range now days.
  3. Smart looking car. Well done and welcome back from the jap side.
  4. White 330ci. Owns the "fast lane" at 95kph all day!
  5. Was a very broad generalization Blue.
  6. The new Gibli or what ever it is called is nice also. Looks almost f30 at the front.
  7. Sorry, I feel asleep for a hour after looking at a picture of a BMW and dosing off. The Italians and the English build sexy cars with soul that break down... The Germans build solid boring cars that are over engineered. The French build crazy joie de vivre cars that are practical but frustrating at times. The Japanese and Koreans build reliable appliances. The Americans and Australian build cars to make money... and yet loose money? You would "don't give a f**k" rich or crazy pore to buy a Maserati... either way it will cost a fortune.
  8. What I would do is keep posting on the internet for another few days and leave it until the end of next week, businesses love it when people leave things to the last working week of the year.
  9. The thread title implies that Germans actually build sexy cars and we should be surprised that an Italian has managed to build something beautiful. Would be more impressed if a thread said, German and its sexy.

    New NZ Police Cars

I don't care what they use as long use they leave me alone.
  11. Anyone tried the new M4 released today? Its a bit of fun, tail happy!
  12. Possibly the best modern turbo straight 6? People who appreciate performance will appreciate this car. Yep, every day. Best of all now that it is turbo will be reliable and fast and maybe get between services without using 4L of oil
  13. Yep, mate and sponsor. Just call and say Graham sent you, or just drop them in with the cash, Dan is very approachable.
  14. Its not silly powerful and its power is delivered in a nice flexible turbo way meaning it will be easier and more flexible to drive on the road, its 20% more efficient than the last one meaning it will have a longer range and save money, it has a nice 6-Speed gearbox , nice brakes and tyres and a LSD, I can imagine it would be a very nice car on the road and a lot more practical and tactile than a lot of other stuff available. I am betting this is the best M3 to drive on the road yet. I would daily the f**k out of one and then take it to the track for some drifting on the weekends!
  15. How dare you apply logic to Blue-540i's posts. A V8 Supercar is basically a HSV with some adjusties bro.

    Xbone or PS4?

Nice. Feel sorry for a mate who got one on release day and was robbed the next day, he cant get a replacement for a few weeks. I got my PS3 on the day it was released in NZ, have never had an issue other than the fact it is now running out of space. I will get a PS4 in a few months.
  17. Try Brian's Auto Center in Manukau, ask for Dan and say it will be cash.
  18. Maybe they could use it as catering vehicle and somehow harness the heat! Portable BBQ!
  19. I think online racing is more fun, also enjoyed the seasonal events in GT5, some of those were very challenging. Played GT5 up until last week and never finished all the races. I think for the most part "career" mode stuff is just going through the motions to unlock sh*t. Yup, mostly Japanese stuff, there are like 30 Honda Skylines and 54 variations of a Mazda MX5 but no Sierra Cosworth or bunch of other awesome European car's.
  20. About $30, a blue case and you get a voucher with it so that you can enter a code and get a head start on the game with a dozen cars and 1m in the bank. The cars are cool but unfortunately all feature Gran Turismo livery that you cant remove so I can see myself buying most of the cars over. I would have just brought the normal game and started out in a sh*t box the old fashioned way. I spotted you can now buy in game credits with your credit/debt card too, that's an interesting feature for some people.
  21. Quit cigarettes, I am still a sucker for a Cigar when socializing and I am still a nicotine addict, still really struggle in a social environment with mates, its very hard when I associate having a good time with drinking and smoking, I truly do enjoy both, I think even more so than the socializing it self.... So I have become a lot less social these days... but as you get older you have to let things go and focus on more important things.
  22. GT6 is on PS3. My wife brought me a copy yesterday for our 10 year anniversary, dumb move as I spent most of last night ignoring her playing the game! haha. I am a Renault Sport fan so I was stoked to see the first car I got to drive was a Liquid Yellow Clio RS200 and than you win one for completing the fist tier of events, also happy it has my other two real life cars are in the car in the game, 2007 Megane RS (albeit 5 door vs 3) and 2011 Megane RS Trophy... and the Aniversary pack gave me a A110 and a Megane Trophy Racer. Still a sh*t list of BMW's, no E30's... also missing quite a few cars I would call enthusiast essentials, they really have missed a lot of good European cars, e28, E36 M3, Peugeot 205 GTI, 306 GTI, AMG Sledgehammer spring to mind. Would have been nice to see a few new Australian cars too, the VE/VF Commodore and last of the Falcons would have been good, maybe a few classics too. Tracks are good, Bathurst is a highlight, have not done much, Brands Hatch is actually a sweet little track The AI is still lacking and not much of a challenge, I enerered a 550pp race in my 420pp Clio RS and cleaned up with ease. Look forward to unlocking more content, did the first round at Goodwood in the A110 and that was fun, a bit easy, have got Gold in everything so far while lying on the couch, normally it takes siting up and concentrating.
  23. Good luck mate, you can do it. I lost near 30kg in the time I have quite, I took on a new attitude to looking after myself and being careful about what I ate, I found abstaining from nicotine was similar to abstaining from food so it wasn't too hard... also found I could breath better and ran a marathon. I think you you need to look at it as a total lifestyle change, a new lease on life, embrace it.
