WOW! looks great!!
-
sounds expensive at first glance but without details of spec/options hard to say. also service history can be important. is it private or dealer? 325i wagons (E91 shape) is a great all round car, have owned two previously. a bit thirsty on fuel around town but fine on open road. not super quick but still enough power for most situations. i suspect the price is due to "lowered with aftermarket mags" which can be a good or bad thing depending on who it is for. much more reliable than 320i and doesnt use any more petrol so just try to find one within budget and you like the look of. try to get one that is well maintained or consider a mechanical warranty if buying from dealer. post up links of trademe etc if you want opinions on specific cars

yep, seen it many times in the flesh and really amazing colour. must be seen to be appreciated. owner has had a long history of M3 ownership, E46, E92, E90 etc wonder what hes changing to hmmm

nice facelift sedan with a good 6cyl engine! looks good in grey -
there is an identical 2003 530i at pick a part, not sure if the module is still there but reckon its worth picking it up? might get your help with the coding if so. Thanks for that Glenn, it would be last resort as I need to use the car so cant send off the module and have the car off the road while it gets repaired. I think there is supposed to be someone in north shore Auckland but not sure..

Ive got the DSC and brake light error on my E39 and scanned the car which showed a wheel speed sensor fault. I replaced the sensor but problem persists. However, it is intermittent, usually comes on after a bit of driving and goes away after restarting the car usually. I have read that it could be a faulty ABS module - in which case can I replace it with a used part just swap right in or does it need coding? Alternatively, I also heard that I could get this part repaired - does anyone know where I can get this done and estimate cost? Or should I try another wheel speed sensor as the part I replaced it with was just pulled from a pick-a-part (used). Thanks!

Thanks I agree, the E90 wheels with offsets around 30 work really well on the 3 series and also 1 series compared to the original stock wheels. All ive done so far is the new wheels and tyres, alignment, an oil change, tinted windows, black grills/bumper mesh and a good clean. next on the list is a headlight polish at some point and probably a trans service just for good measure.

Anyone need?

imo better than dct for day to day driving!

Now now guys. the real star of the show is the ZF8 rather than the N vs B discussion

Sent him a msg for his number. Will txt it to u if i get it. (seems like a wheel dealer. Has many many many listings for all kinds of mags)

saw a set of style 208's in mint condition in Waiuku for $350 if youre interested listed on facebook marketplace

I have some staggered style 194's in shadowchrome if you are interested John 17x8 front et34 17x8.5 rear et37 its a perfect fit on the e36 coupe with no rubbing or clearance issues. wider track width than standard e36 wheel fitment also. has near new tyres on them in staggered fit, blacklions - they are 225 45 17 and 255 40 17
-
i know it might be tempting to go with whats available but I would hold out for some staggered wheels. the 8" combined with high offset of 47 on the rear will reduce the track width a bit.

B48 is a wonderful engine

Do you think its still worth buying from AVIN? (in light of everything that has happened recently) Looking for a unit for the E39. To be honest the Avin unit for the E39 is the old style with 7" screen and I would much rather go for the bigger 9" screen only version. https://avinusa.com/avant-4-multimedia-navigation-system-for-bmw-5-series-e39-m5.html https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=e39+android+9"&_sacat=0

e87 never came with 261's so someone has put them on, most likely off a 135i

basically BMW's version of the Fiat Multipla. in saying that, probably a very practical car, newish with nice features, pano sunroof is nice.

hmm, we had some error lights on our car from them and they got a replacement battery sorted out for me within a few days. it was pretty straight forward. guy named Mario was the sales manager at the time. -

bought a car from eurosport before, was a smooth easy transaction. but my single experience doesnt mean a whole lot to say whether the car in question is good or not, that is for you to decide -
It wont fit as E39s have a bigger centre bore compared to all other bmws so its not possible to fit them. My opinion is it wont look good anyway, i think E39 body shape benefits from wheels with a dish design not something with a flat face with multiple spokes.

get a cheap set of style 193's and fit them. perfect offset for the 1
