Really like the spec on this one but worried about the ex-SG import status mainly. I kind of like that its got the 2L turbo, its the N20b20 same like the new 3 series 320i but much more power producing 180kW instead of 135kW. Should be sweet! Much better than the older N52b30 NA. Wonder what it will go for..

I have decided against it this time round again for many reasons pointed out above. My pockets arent deep enough yet to cover the potential bills and the amount of joy it will bring on a soon to be jammed traffic commute isnt looking promising either. So theres that idea out the window till next time.

yours must be the 18x8 ET20 square set up. It will "fit" on an E46 with 225 40 18 or smaller. they wont stick out, will sit pretty much flush against the guards. for reference I had 18x8.5 ET22 on my old car with 225 40 18 and it did fit on standard msport suspension. if lowered, will definitely need to step down a profile so 215 35 18 or similar.

this is a good rule of thumb. internet is a wonderful but also potentially nasty place. lets keep it the former.

It seems like a pity that something like this has happened to someone whom I consider to be one of the regular contributors to this forum. Sure, there have been moments of 'heated discussion" for lack of a better expression but I havent personally noticed anything too far out of line but in saying that, it is subjective and open to interpretation for different individuals. Regardless of this, I do think it is fair to be notified of any wrongdoings or breach of terms or even just a "hey I think this is a bit out of line" before any action taken to one's account. Three strike warnings seem to be an easy solution if someone didnt want to listen to the mods. We have all met each other face to face at my regular meet ups which I hope will continue when we can do so safely, and I think we are all grown ups here so clear communication seems to be key so everyone can put this behind and move on.

literally any mag shop should be able to do it. Ive used Autostance in East Tamaki in the past. the best is if you do it yourself carefully and slowly rather than paying someone to do a rushed job but it can be quite involved to DIY and you need to roller of course. and jack stands etc to lift the car and remove the wheel etc.

yea I was thinking that but the CSL is an appreciating classic in manual a true garage queen, and I am guessing that the M2 is the modern re-incarnation possibly in automatic, that can be taken out more often without worrying as much.
