  1. I agree with the E36 Ti but hard to find a "good" one for $1000, you will end up spending another 1-2k to properly fix it up. still well worth it for a sub 3.5k car the older fit/jazz have/had transmission issues and also very poor accident safety. wouldnt recommend for a first time driver to be honest. but definitely cheap and otherwise reliable
  2. @treone Fantastic! Did you wire it up also so it lights up?

  4. https://www.germanboost.com/showthread.php?75288-OEM-Xenon-F30-3-Series-retrofit-DIY-(do-it-yourself)-with-part-numbers https://www.bimmerfest.com/threads/f30-diy-oem-adaptive-xenon-retrofit.747677/ google search shows these links, surely there is a lot of info to be found. cost wise probably wont be cheap even if you DIY.
  5. 205/50 might be a bit stretched on a 8” wheel no? Like you will have a straight/square profile up front but a stretched look on the rear.

  7. ^might have to double check those part numbers i gave you if your car is pre lci. check on realoem.com using your vin number
  8. bmw bump stops front 31336767333 bmw bump stops rear x2 33536767335 or bmw performance bump stops rear x2 33536788905 I ordered mine from demontweeks and schmiedmann due to in stock levels. Ended up paying more for shipping but otherwise you can get it from 1 place for cheaper shipping but longer wait times
  9. This is what I ended up getting which is basically the equivalent to stock msport front left strut 31316786019 Bilstein B4S BLS22-144256 front right strut 31316786020 Bilstein B4S BLS22-144270 rear shocks x2 33526771559 Bilstein B4S BLS19-144238
  10. I was thinking about this before I ordered my replacements. Ended up just getting the Bilstein B4 because I think the msport suspension rides firm enough for my liking and comparing new shocks vs worn ones that’s done over 100k kms, i think it will be a decent “upgrade” back to factory ride quality. I saw some people finding B6’s ride too harsh and I have no plans to lower the car so OE replacements seemed fine for me.

Possibly, I sold it almost 2 years ago so who knows where it ended up.
  12. ^ Ive seen quite a few 130s with style 193s to know that it does work I will report back after front shocks replacement

Style 193s are a great fit on the e46 and looks awesome imo
  14. Tried to fit Style 193 wheels on mine 18x8" ET34 with 225/40 front 18x8.5" ET37 with 235/40 rear fronts rubbed over any small bumps. Ended up taking them off the car until i sort out new shocks to see if it would make a difference. Otherwise will need to change to m3 control arms. if you want you can try my wheels for fitment on your car. alternatively smaller tyres would probably work but i had already bought new tyres in the above size so it would be nice to be able to use them.
  15. Are the wheels genuine m5 wheels? They arent cheap if it is
  16. Bit late to the party but forget about vertex 0w-30 and just grab any decent 5w-30 or 5w-40 and change it out. Castrol, mobil, shell, penrite hpr5 all fine for your n52
  17. Ran the vin decoder and comes back as a standard 1995 build E36 323i coupe. Not an alpina, doesnt have the alpina body kit or engine spec. But it does seem like it has motorsport suspension and sports (albeit cloth) seats. The wheels look to be style 65 replicas. Black sideskirts probably dont help with the sale either. Unfortunately wont be commanding huge money, how many kms on it now 200k? Do you have a good record of service history for the last 5 years? It maybe worth 4-5k to the right buyer if the car is mechanically sound and no issues.
  18. Could it be worn shocks causing the car to compress down too much over bumps causing the rubbing? also wont 245 wide tyres be a bit “bulging” on an 8” wheel?
  19. Just out of curiosity, was it rubbing all the time or just over bumps? How about when cornering?
  20. I wasn’t seriously saying it was the “best” as denoted by the “?” But I do think it is super cool. Of course you can’t compare with some of the legendary models actually produced by BMW themselves but this is a great execution of a wild idea. If you watch/read into it, a Z8 was not sacrificed for this build, it was build on the Z4 platform which I think was quite smart. Looks wise sure it can be a bit controversial given the styling similarities as noted by other’s comments above but the design thought process and execution is amazing and it is a cool idea to have a modern v8 running as well as it seems to in an older looking 2 door coupe chassis.
