  1. How sure of this are you? Is it new or recently load tested? Bad batteries can show 12V on a multimeter but once you put load on it it can fall on its face. Try another battery to be sure.
  2. For some reason a lot of NZDM BMWs seemed to miss xenons, but no iDrive is common, and i believe, preferred.
  3. Make sure they have the correct RHD beam pattern, i dont see any mention of it on the site.
  4. Nissan Crew. The most billy basic poverty pack sedan Nissan makes.
  5. What a mess, and the grille is only part of the issue. So many redundant lines in the bodywork, the rear arches are out of proportion, the front bumper is all over the place. Ugh, better off with a C-Class or A4.

    LSB E46 M3

Im the opposite lol, I'd just buy the cheapest one with the best condition/history, regardless of the colour. I wouldnt pay extra for a colour, especially LSB as i think its ugly 😅

Strange. Im not familiar with where the tube ends on those engines, can you see the end of it if you look up into the block?
  8. I agree, it looks too dark to be LMB, but having the door jams and the likes done should at least mean it was a proper job if it was repainted.

It should have ended up in the bottom of the sump (as this is usually there the dip stick tube ends), but has the potential to block the pickup. I wouldnt run the engine until it was removed. Drain the oil, if you cant get at it, drop the pan. Edit: if you didnt poke the dip stick right down afterwards you might get lucky by unbolting and removing the dip stick tube
  10. Off the dealers website where they have to provide the CIN.
  11. Looking at the superseded part number, can you not just cut one leg short and end up with exactly the same shape as the original...? Original Superseded
  12. Its Le Mans blue, according to the VIN.
  13. Ive known two people personally with 540is, both ended up with guide issues. One was quite low KM NZ New, the other high KM import. Seems random.
  14. Individual interior and exterior, Extended leather, wood inlay, active seats, hi-line rear compartment, msport MF wheel

    "fixed"

The grille is better, but the failure in the design of the latest cars isnt just the grille. They're a clusterf**k of lines and shapes. That gross widebody does nothing to help that.
  16. Thats REALLY billy basic options compared to the 750 in the OP, and pre LCI.
  17. Can you not just buy some generic fuel hose of the correct size and rating? Doesn't seem to be a particularly sharp bend so normal EFI hose should take that bend OK. Just make sure its a known good brand like Gates, Codan etc.
  18. 750ils come up fairly often and generally at a pretty low price, the only thing this has going for it is the spec. I wonder if its 71,000 KM or Miles (since UK import with Miles cluster). Its a nice car, but not many people want a LWB V12 barge. I still think adding Q&A to classifieds on TM was a bad idea. It was the best way to weed out the idiots with opinions; if they wanted to say it was over priced they used to have to actually contact you, and had no public visibility. Now its a free for all for anyone with a keyboard.
  19. ARGH people that screw euro plates straight into the bumper cover instead of using a plinth or plate frame.
  20. It's got a damn good spec on it. Individual paint and interior too. Shame the paint is a bit rough, but should tidy up ok. I sure as hell wouldnt pay anywhere near that for it; its probably worth about half the buy now. Pretty limited market.
  21. Who said I get excited over my frugal daily driver?
  22. Never understood "skids". Just something drongos do in their falcodores to look cool to their equally low IQ mates.
  23. Anyone in the wellington region got any green CH11S hydraulic fluid spare they will sell cheap? Only need a top up so don't want to buy a $40 500ml bottle for 100ml. Don't care if genuine or another brand as long as it's compatible.
  24. Havent missed BMW life. Everything is so expensive, and things keep falling off. Lost a center cap badge at some point today. Thought replacing the front and rear badges would be cheap (since someone put shitty carbon ones on it) but no, front one is cheap, boot one is a minimum of $50 from overseas. sh*t its a nice car to drive though. Just eats up the miles. Swapped the wider wheels/tyres back to the rear where they should be. Car suddenly drives better now with more grip and less traction control fighting. Cant believe the previous owner didnt notice. Oh, also coded the JDM radio to NZ frequencies. First time using NCSExpert, Easier than expected.
