This is what I did. Grabbed one off trademe, came with fluid and works a treat. Had to bodge the outlet a bit so I could stick a hose on it. I tried the incense thing first but the smoke machine is much more effective.

Seems I have fallen into a hole and the market for these things has taken a dive. Split intake pipe?

Vacuum pump, and some googling shows this isnt an uncommon issue. Be worth checking/replacing the pipe from the pump

Its rubbish its off the road, they should've been able to patch it back up until the parts arrive. Cant imagine its more than a couple of retainers that have broken? Heck, can probably clip it all back in place as it is now.

They should, checking the stamped VIN/Chassis number is part of a WOF. They would also know by being blinded when they try to check the beam pattern.

Does the pedal feel like it does when you press it with the engine off? Kinda sounds like an issue with the booster

I wish I had these options when I had my e91, it sounds like the mhd tune has become a lot more driveable since then.

Yeah, looks like hid ballasts, so that's a wof/compliance fail. Same with the tail lights, won't pass when black.

A lot of dealerships these days are just parts fitters, not mechanics. Its almost becoming a lost art to diagnose and fix issues that arent by the book or having the answer given to you by a computer.

I nearly bought one a while back, but the huge list of issues the pano roof can have, and the fact the carpet on the drivers side was soaked and mouldy didnt really sell it. Very nice to drive though and so roomy.

I feel the market in general has changed a lot over the past couple of months. When I bought my Mini they were selling as quick as they could be listed, now i've been sitting on mine for a few weeks and only one person has been in touch. Guessing COVID has made people think twice about spending money.
