  1. Banning or silencing members should ALWAYS be the last resort and is generally considered overkill and a bit gross.
  2. Mmm, not sure on those mirror caps tbh, look a bit too batman-ish to me. Original mirrors looked nicer.
  3. Nice looking car, love the subtle blue. I also second the opinion to not go to Stage2+. I had it, and the power was just stupid for the road. Sure, you could pass anything in the blink of an eye (and risk your license in the process) but acceleration from a stop/low speed was greatly hampered by not being able to put that power down. Even with an LSD my car struggled, it killed a lot of the enjoyment of trying to drive it fast. Without an LSD it would've been impossible. It was good for sliding around, if that's what tickles your bits. Stage1+ is just more useable.
  4. That colour combo is bloody amazing! ?
  5. I did the sleeve and tube seals on my E91. Made a noticeable difference, but that trans was average at best anyway (probably to do with the nasty fluid that had been in there for 154000km, and at stage 2+). https://www.tasteslikepetrol.net/2018/11/schnellwagon-transmission-service-and-lifetime-fluid/ I used INPA to reset adaptions and set trans level at temp.
  6. I would've deleted your question too, if thats it. You sound like a time waster trying to tank his listing. Just let the guy sell his car. If it doesn't sell, he will know its over priced.
  7. Jesus that interior looks good!
  8. F'ing 335i sums up my ownership of one too TBH. There was always something that wasn't right, even after thousands had been spent doing all the common failure points. I wouldn't do it again. I'd love an E90 M3 though, but that bearing thing would scare the hell out of me. Even if its not as bad an issue as the interwebs says, its still got to hang in the back of the mind.
  9. Strangely my youshop parcel that has been in transit from AKL to my local wellington depot arrived this morning, without changing status. So its not just international tracking that is on the piss. Now for my "essential item" that I ordered in Level 4 to arrive from Auckland.
  10. I have six of these if they are of any use. Can't be 100% sure they're all good, as a couple have crosses drawn on them by a previous owner, but the car ran and drove fine. Replaced as a a diagnostic step for an idle issue.
  11. What part number? I have some from my old S50B30 if theyre the same?
  12. Just got a bunch of emails from NZPost advising my parcel has now arrived in NZ, cleared customs and is in transit to local depot. Went from not knowing where in the world Carmen Sandiego it is to almost being on my doorstep very quickly. Im guessing that tracking is on the piss, but things are moving, albeit slowly. It would've been nice for NZPost to communicate this though, instead of fobbing me off. Thats all I wanted, some clear communication. In contrast, I can also concur that AliX stuff is arriving quicker than ever, i've had things ordered and arrive during lockdown. Faster than getting things from Trademe.
  13. Thats lovely. As much as I keep wanting to move on from E36s, they just look great with a couple of small tweaks.
  14. Yeah, I paid VAT and then GST, and then a covid surcharge, and then a high value surcharge and then the shipping fee... all for it to sit at the airport with no communication. Sad face.
  15. Similar to me, I have a youshop parcel that's been sitting at international departure for almost a month and Nzpost can't tell me when it'll move, just pointing me at the covid 19 stuff on their site, which says a 3 day delay.
  16. Interesting it has a bar for a drawbar on the front, I wonder if its spent its time being dragged behind a camper or something?

    Shed fit outs

I have quickjacks too, also due to height constraint (bit hard to move the bedrooms to give headroom), but given half the chance I cant see why you wouldnt factor in the extra to have the ability to add a hoist later. Cost or not, you will regret it later if you dont.

    Shed fit outs

If you're building a shed, you're stupid not to at least design in the space for a hoist. Even if you dont get one now, it will give you the option down the track without having to redo the flooring or the roof. You should have a look over on the Oldschool forum, if you havent already, there are a couple of threads on their sheds.

    E46 330ci Manual

The oil leak on the back of trans is probably the selector shaft seal. Common, and a PITA to change.
  21. Its said deposit taken since pretty early on, so I guess they were waiting for the lockdown to end so they could inspect it. Cant imagine it would do well in an inspection.
  22. Why would the ICV make a difference though? I dont think factory manual cars run a different ICV, does the ecu control it differently auto/manual?
  23. My old E36 did that after it was converted to manual with light flywheel. Always thought it was because it wasnt re-coded, but maybe not.
  24. I quite like Marrakesh Brown
