I have quickjacks too, also due to height constraint (bit hard to move the bedrooms to give headroom), but given half the chance I cant see why you wouldnt factor in the extra to have the ability to add a hoist later. Cost or not, you will regret it later if you dont.

If you're building a shed, you're stupid not to at least design in the space for a hoist. Even if you dont get one now, it will give you the option down the track without having to redo the flooring or the roof. You should have a look over on the Oldschool forum, if you havent already, there are a couple of threads on their sheds.

The oil leak on the back of trans is probably the selector shaft seal. Common, and a PITA to change.

Its said deposit taken since pretty early on, so I guess they were waiting for the lockdown to end so they could inspect it. Cant imagine it would do well in an inspection.

Why would the ICV make a difference though? I dont think factory manual cars run a different ICV, does the ecu control it differently auto/manual?

My old E36 did that after it was converted to manual with light flywheel. Always thought it was because it wasnt re-coded, but maybe not.

Lol, I only skim read the listing before, but now i've had a better look, good fricken luck. Fully repainted in the Factory colour. Fully debadged (A factory option at the time at a cost of 5K). So clearly they just bogged in the badge recesses when repainting the car. Why spin that story about it being a factory option? Huge Sound system. I particularly like the half arsed install in the boot, with bits hanging by their wires and a repco sub box held in with some metal strapping from bunnings. My last E36 had a "huge sound system" and that was actually a damn good build (but ugly and heavy). From its unique new colour job, to being fully debadged, to its heated Mspec interior and exterior items, Nobody else will have one like it, No, I can assure you that no one will have one like it, unless they too grab bits from other cars and make their own spec. Hes spinning a story to try and justify the huge cost, yet none of his tales add up.

Being the interior code is Fabric flat-weave "Clover"/turquoise (D6TK), this is what it should look like. Not black leather. I dare say the heated seats have been retrofitted too as thats not on the options list, and is hardly going to be fitted to a S823 Hot-Climate Version car.

There is no way that is on standard suspension, thats at a horrible flatpeak stance height. The only thing going for that car is that its "low km". No service history, questionable mods, singapore import. Its not cheap. Also, is the airbag cover meant to have uneven gaps and a lump in it?

Chances are they were all registered before 2010, thats how they still stay on the road. The one rule that should be pulling them out is the excessive smoke rule, but it seems no one can be bothered testing for that. I know we failed a Mitsi for it at work a while back, but all the owner did was drive it away with no WOF and probably take it somewhere else for a pass after dumping some smoke stop in it.
