Take all the stickers and sh*t off it, and it'll probably look quite nice

Oh, and the reduced limit is really helping... https://www.1news.co.nz/2023/02/06/person-dies-following-2-vehicle-crash-in-carterton/

I bought a xmas present for my wife late Nov. DHL carried it from the states, handed it to Aus post (but why?), who according to tracking have had it sitting in NZ since xmas day, and its gone nowhere since. I emailed Aus post about it, they basically said "its an untracked service and too bad if its missing lol, ask for a refund from the seller". How did I know where it is? The tracking details. WTF.

KwS replied to Harper's topic in General Discussion
Just to point out the obvious, but the ones for sale are because they havent sold.... The ones for 775nzd on the M3 forum for instance, have been listed for over a year. -
That bubbling tint though, that right there is +5 HP.

R56 Cooper S - buying advice/recommendations
KwS replied to SmithyInWelly's topic in Other European Cars
From my research when I was looking at them, the general consensus was to avoid the N14 and go straight to the facelift N18, unless you have receipts covering all the common issues the N14 has (Mainly timing chain, carbon build up, turbo oil line and valve stem seals). Main thing is that it doesnt rattle, and doesnt smoke, as they're the two most "obvious" issues. -
A Fit/Jazz isnt a very good comparison, they're a tardis and have very good interior space for their size.
-
Lol yeah you'd have to bank on a different engine, you KNOW its at turners for a reason and its probably to do with the N46. Turners is the dumping ground for cars you cant sell anywhere else. Its also clever, because i believe being sold at auction like it is means its not subject to certain CGA clauses.

Yup. Agree completely, utter trash of a transmission. Mine did about 80,000km and the jerk got to the point where it would lurch at takeoff too, which made getting across intersections interesting. When it got to that point I manual converted the car and didnt look back.

Iirc in the top 5 is the Honda Accord/torneo and Toyota mark x
-
their cheapest car to insure, the Toyota Aqua, is also one of the most stolen, and easiest stolen cars in NZ. They also have an old Caldina GT Turbo on there.
-
Not even that will make me vote for those f**kwits. Notice how they just grab onto what the topical issue currently is to try and grab voters?
-
its utterly f**ked that the tribunal basically washed their hands of it and wont hold Beachams accountable.

Just stick a popcorn tune on it and be done with it 🤣
-
It doesn't even make sense, and who cares?

Appreciates the profit too, no doubt https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/540i/listing/3926835969?bof=t1CUuipv

Ditto, but not surprising as we're both in Wellington and serviced by the same useless depot

And i thought the wheels on my old M3-28i looked ridiculous 🤣
-
uh, can we just talk about those chromies for the homies for a minute?
-
That spider in the reverse light though 🤣

Very common, not just on BMWs. Some Mazdas have a secondary mark above full to indicate when the "contaminated" oil level is too high and an oil change recommended.
-
Love the spec on that one. Black with red leather, manual and big six. That wont be around long.

Most of these have been for sale for ages, indicating that the market hasn't caught up with their advertised pricing yet.
