Mainfreight quoted me just shy of $500 to ship a pair of front seats from Cromwell to Wellington, depot to depot, so add in the rear seat and im not that surprised. Its all about that volumetric weight.

The previous owner of my old one got unlucky lol. At 150k it'd had turbos, injectors, hpfp, lpfp, coils, sump gasket and the trans wasnt too happy. It did have a stage 2+ tune though which stresses everything. They arent a cheap car to own, but they are an older high performance european car, so expect some decent stacks of cash for maintenance.

Ill add to the list; Loud motorcycles with no mufflers being ridden at WOT around residential areas in the early hours of the morning. Please seriously maim yourself. Heck, loud motorcycles at all, do they really think their mix of a long sloppy fart and a bad trombone sounds good?

I roll apple as my daily laptop because it's just easier to use, hardware lasts longer and I don't need to mess with anything, but my phone is Samsung and I hate all the other apple devices in the ecosystem (appletv, time capsule etc) as they're all compromised and just don't quite hit the mark. Wish I never bought into the ecosystem now. Windows is a shitshow; I have to use it at work every day and it makes my MacBook look like it's from the future in terms of just not shitting itself all the time for no reason. I'm an ex certified apple tech. LoL.

God I hate my Apple TV. The hardware and OS is generally good, but its limited by the apps which are kinda half cooked. Cant wait to replace my tv and bin the apple shite.

I have a low end Nilfisk, had it for about 8 years or so I think. Used infrequently but when I do it's for a good couple hours solid (house washing etc). Never had an issue with it, shame if they've left the market.

My last one had more km (mid 100s) but everything worked, had reg and wof, tidy inside and out, and was a utter nightmare to shift even before the price of fuel blew out. I think I got 10k for it and that was a real stretch. Taking that as a trade is one of my biggest regrets. If you're after 10k, you might be holding onto it for a while.

Since theres no price, I'll give you a grand for it.

It's an ok spec; nothing particularly special (no sport options or LSD) and isn't a catless car. I feel like pdc isn't a common option. Would make a nice weekend cruiser.

I believe the NZ new cars not having cats was due to us having sh*t/leaded petrol at the time, which would kill a cat. My M3 was NZ new catless and didn't even have o2 sensors.

Overseas "buyers" are a completely different case. Most are a well known scam. I've sold some cars via weird or sketchy communication. Just give them a call, they probably just dont know how to computer but are genuine buyers. Buy a disposable 2degrees sim if you're worried.

You do know all dealerships are different and often owned and run by other companies, right? Not all dealerships are created equal. In my experience, including working for them, dealerships tend to want nothing to do with old cars. They aren't worth the time as they don't tend to bring in quick money like late model cars. Parts are harder to get, and diagnostic takes longer and can be more complex. There will also only be one or two technicians at the dealership that have ever even worked on something like an E34 and it wouldn't have been for years.

Would this be something @promo might be able to do, or too old?

Id buy that for 5k in a heartbeat if it didnt spend all my money on broken British cars already. Want an 09 Swift Sport to trade in instead? 😅
