That's properly lovely that. Would happily buy it myself but I doubt my Swift would sell before someone else bought it. Good luck 🙂

Christ that video thumbnail has given me nightmares.
-
Wow, its pretty thrown together for the asking price. That shifter and temp gauge alone would put me off.

I tell my reckons on a forum, not use trademe as a forum to derail a listing. Allowing Q&A on classified listings is still one of the shittiest things trademe did (other than increase prices through the roof); so many time wasting keyboard warriors that wouldn't have previously bothered to make private contact. Imagine calling someone to say their price is too high, but no you're not actually interested in buying it, you just wanted them to know. If anyone hasnt clicked, my whole stance is due to the title of this thread.

No one needs to tell him it's overpriced, go get a life. There isn't a rule that you MUST tell someone of your reckons. What he does need to sort before trying to sell it for that much, is the dash lights and lack of cert.

fedex can sub out to a local carrier too. Cant remember if its aramex or nzcouriers.

Pretty much this. Its like Fastway said "hold my beer"...

I believe that car is the one discussed here, It'll be a hard sell to get $35-45k PLUS the almost 20%+gst buyers premium.... Goddam its a gorgeous looking car though. An E34 of some sort is a car I should have owned by now
-
At least you drag yours, mine was just for driving like a dickhead 🤣

Oxford green is such a classic colour for the E39. One of my favorites for sure.
-
On the flip side, being a Jap import it's probably had the unit recoded to work in NZ, which is definitely something they do not do and wouldn't support. It's like taking your car in with a tuned ECU and expecting them to load a tune on it again after reflashing it back to stock during a software update. I agree it's sh*t that it broke, but most dealers will silently roll out recalls when it's there, because well, it's a recall and needs to be done and better than getting you back in later.

FCP Euro Changing their Lifetime Replacement Guarantee

i can imagine this warrranty was probably used and abused in the US, so it makes sense something had to give eventually. -
Mine had that after converting it, even with a light flywheel. Was a real PITA.

That red one looks like a Chinese knockoff of a BMW. Might as well be called a Chery. Somehow all the sharp edges have been softened like its a photoshop, and leaves it looking sort of mushy to look at.

As said, Diesel fuel in the oil is normal as long as long as it's only a small amount. Some vehicles actually have a secondary "full" marking on the dipstick as an indicator to change the oil if the level reaches it from fuel contamination.

Either its blue and you are blind as a bat, or you are trying to save face by saying you are talking about a different set of pictures...
-
Clearly blue, might want to alter your display colour settings. It's also ugly as all f**k, no matter the colour. Compare it to the outgoing M2 and it's not even a contest. The new one is like a child drew it, but I think even a child could do better.

Being an E36 you will need a BMW specialist with an ADS connection to connect to the car and check for codes. A normal OBD2 reader wont work. Old car life.

How the mighty have fallen. Damn I want it though! Ultimate combo.
-
Yeah nah. Dealer should foot the bill.

Only real option is to drill the hole out and insert a helicoil or similar.

How to know if your E90 has limited slip or non limited slip Differential?
KwS replied to Toksis's topic in Maintenance
Its not an exact science. As long as its close to level it will be fine.
