show me these E30s!? can buy about 3 E36s for the equivelent E30 these days!

nothing wrong with any E30 engine, all simple and easy, m40 would be my pick for a daily etc. E36 not too bad but a bit heavier, a bit thirstier, is it you paying gas? whatever it is get manual and teach her how to drive properly. can always go to an auto later. having said that, E39s are cheap now can pick one up for a couple grand....

Well, another 6 months passed! Apart from take it for a WOF (passed straight through as usual), only thing I have done to it is buy a new battery for it. Original BMW one buggered out about 18 months ago, so had an old temp one i had sitting here, but was already at the end of its life. New Yuasa battery and shes golden. Would love to have an OEM BMW one in there, but the price... and what is probably new old stock on a battery, i didnt want to take the gamble. Oh and also fitted new brake light switch, so thats probably a good thing! Picked up two very nice Clarion units as well over my time and need to fit one of them into this car too, the sony that is in there is quite in the eye sore in the dash! it infuriates me, and people have changed too. I am not the only one and i know it. you dont go into paknsave and take a box of weatbix up to the counter and find out what the price is. or even worse, say you want to pay $1, but they just give you no responce other than to say no. they have that magic $3.60 amount in thier head you just have to keep guessing. Same reason Tender and Auctions I didnt even bother going to the open homes when i brought my last two houses. If you cant tell me the price, i am not interested in doing the spade work for something that has a 50% chance of wasting my time. there are enough deluded people with no idea of real value as it is. mods please shift to rant thread. oh damn i am a mod lol

Lol i am nearly 7k. just sneaks up i guess. And not even edited like some of the mods here! Its a great community most of the time, and changed a lot over the 7 or so years i been here. Good then sh*t, happy to say its defiantely good and active again these days! and the new members coming through getting involved and staying here!

If you want to look at show ponies, i suggest you look at your own driveway, and every other member here, would you call them all show ponies as well? or is it no longer a show poney for the sole reason being that it has depreciated 70%......... Yeah exactly what i was referring to. would be surprised if they shifted Petrol version here.

I use Novus here, usually because the vehicles are fixers and dont have insurance etc. never a bad experience yet except they smashed a rear windscreen in one of the E34s here i had sold, but because the didnt realise it had an antenna in it at such an early age. But i had another E34 here anyways so no harm done.

What dash cam are you using? the resolution looks very good.
