18" staggered m-pars and 17" staggered racing dynamics
_ethrty-Andy_ replied to BM WORLD's topic in For Sale
a v8 definitely makes a lot of sense in a wagon which are butt heavy from the factory. make sense in a cabby too, handling is all up the fk with a sloppy chassis anyways so might as well do it. -
Shame there is noone in the real-estate biz on bimmersport all the good cars have 40L engines
-
I have a single pair of blank frames here still, slightly different way the plate mounts into the holder but every bit the quality. $45 shipped

them m pars never really pulled my rip cord standard but they look very nice when polished up like that! Ken you need these -
Brent @ BM World no doubt has in stock, a couple 330i on the yard at the moment forum sponsor

Don't think opel did a version of that but Vauxhall did lol

small engine in big car, good on gas yeah i guess when you get sick of it ringing its tit out you decide the bus was probably a better option, its good on gas sitting at home. from an ex 520i owner (well technically i still have it.... just not a 2L anymore lol

hmm not sure whats better -
Ha ha All 6 series of all years are hard on my eyes, the E24 CSi is ok, probably same price and a lot cheaper to keep the wheels turning.
-
Thats E46 prices these days. Pretty much impossible to make a dollar that way on any E36 these days, the tourings are holding on though a 328i or 325i would be worth trying your luck but don't think so on a 323i if you are getting it for less than 1k worth considering depending what margin you want to make etc much better to part out imho, demand for bits quite high at the moment, they are at that age

ok mine is facelift type

Children and rear airbags
_ethrty-Andy_ replied to Young Thrash Driver's topic in General Discussion
probably just some coding that needs to be played with? probably better to do that so they can be turned back on later, also not sure if it would happen but if the coding is left "activated" and the airbag is physically unplugged it may throw airbag codes on the dash = failed WOF -
cool will try. Linkage is out of the car currently, never been installed, but i can move it in my hand so that cant be a good thing. might as well replace while i am in there.
-
choice, will give him a bell on monday, unless you know if they are open saturday mornings? any opinion to share on copper type? there is endless threads on poly etc
-
Get Kevin in with his holden opel thing, he was a good bastard. deleted all the holden badges yet?
-
yeah i had the same thing, of all times it was when i had my Merc 190E. I dont think that car ever accelerated as quickly, accelerator was through the firewall. Playing with fire, being a lanky white guy rolling a Mercedes through the street that happened to be fair
-
I agree with Dan, however i think the replica wheels detract from the car a bit. there was a big jump in design between the E30 and E36 in a lot of ways, some things retrofit well like engines, pretty much anything else... hmm. Not sure why all the cabbys seem to have monster truck suspension when new!

NZ Carparts in Seaview Wellington have just got an E53 in, no idea if petrol deiael v8 i6 etc tho
-
+1
-
lost on me. would have thought it would be much more comfortable with a Chev badge on the front there is an embassy car in Wellington belongs to one of the South American contries, its one of these on big chrome wheels i kid you not, a youngish black lady drives it usually. you can spot it a mile away because its unlike anything else on the road.
-
definately this. some gentle stuff first so you can work out the competence of the drivers before and after you would be good too.........
-
i agree with the wheels... but you wash your mouth out about the colour
-
i thought the E30 was the only M3 eligble! i had no idea they actually let in cars with more than 4 cylinders, i should enter the V12, mind you it would get eaten by some of the cars there i am very sure.

it is, been there a couple times all the way form wellingtown, not for a while though
