  1. https://www.autogravity.co.nz/shop/Dynavin/bmw/dvne60.html reprogramming would cost around 1k i believe?
  2. My Bosses' ute got nicked last night. those Prado Landy utes are popular I guess.

  3. https://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/alfa-romeo/auction-2666193545.htm? Um. as a DD it would feel gooood.
  4. Bought a pair of OEM reflectors on Ebay, and it arrived in just a week! amazing. wow. How? and at just a total cost of NZD 120 (including GST and freight) for the pair(carbreaker yard wanted $145 each used). it is exactly the same as the originals though YMMV. my next issue is taking the bumper off to put these in. that's the weekend project I guess.
  5. ^Same. Hope it gets sold soon, maybe the lockdown has changed some priorities for some people.

    New 4 series

Just about 10 years ago, we were making fun of Audi and their huge nose grilles... But it sounds like there will be a decent market for the blanking plates or nose fronts, for a more understated look.
  7. IRD sent me a big bill, all because they cocked up a digit... this is after my parents' super had been delayed (by two months) for no reason. but you know how that story goes.
  8. i think is its all relative to age and use, a newer high km 6 year old car has a better chance of feeling better than a lower km 10 year old car. unless of course the previous owner carried building tools in his R320CDI for 6 years from new.
  9. Assuming they end up being say 45-50k in 2 years, would you say you would have had 30k worth of fun in the 2 years you have owned one? and also servicing costs would be right up there with a new car as it is an M. purchasing an M is never a logical decision so go with your gut. Turbo v8 seems to be less special than V10 so can be construed either way.
  10. Maybe we just drive the cars 1.6 times harder.
  11. ^ reasonably hi-spec hi risk hi reward item. bargaining should be possible in this climate.
  12. Just replaced the Pollen filter on this, and it smells so much better, do that whenever you buy a new car! was recommended to do the works -(air/fuel/oil filters) at the next service, so will see how that goes. just waiting for my bottles of fuel conditioner to come in so I can fill the 100L tank with it. The commanding position is great, as is the adjustable suspension. now if only it were easier to see things when reversing (no reverse cameras, only sensors, albeit very good ones)
  13. I wouldn't discount a well sorted Mini, you can get good Cooper S for the price
  14. Weekend car with a massive grin on your face: - Z3/ Z4 in manual. imho. Heck, I was giggling in a Mx5.
  15. does this mean that the dealers will start potato hunting on Facebook?
  16. So sorry to hear this happen mate. it is a terrible thing to happen, where you lose your peace of mind. I know I will be locking my cars up going forward, where before this I didn't bother.
  17. Feels so good only spending $65 dollars per tank. (ok not full, 50L)

oh my gosh. that is non-auckland pricing on steroids.

  18. Thanks Glenn, will speak to him once Level 2 comes in.
  19. Just collected this beast today. unusually for a UK car, has power seats and black leather. The dubs make the ride a little jiggly at times though. is there anything i should keep an eye out for? also, are those BBS rims, i can't tell tbh.
  20. IT'S HERE WOOOOO Q7 Sline 3.0 TDI

  21. Ventilation is often under specified, so maybe some built in fans would be good?.
  22. Oh man,if I had only seen this before the lockdown.:( All the best with the sale bro.
  23. there are deals to be had here at the moment. you should be able to tighten the thumbscrews on FB Marketplace stuff.

      ONE MORE WEEK WOOOO

  25. BMW Imperial Blue is such a good looking colour, I don't think there is any BMW that doesn't look nice in it. Also, cannot be paired with black trim.
