Just did exactly that, cheers Jared. Seals and Anti rattle kit ordered.
-
Anyone have one lying around or know of a cheaper place to get them? Besian trying to charge $30 us shipping on top of $60 us for a few seals in a tiny package... Robbery.
-
Wondering if anyone has one of these lying around. Happy to pay decent money for one.

Could be! Just bought my new toy tonight.

Sold last weekend. I'll miss this car but sold for a great price. New thread coming soon.

I'm quite glad there's been 2 shows come out of the whole clarkson debacle. I really enjoy the dynamic the original 3 have, especially on their yearly specials etc which are absolutely hilarious, but the new hosts (especially sabine and harris) will be able to really show what the cars can do. Eagerly awaiting both shows.

Hey Kelvin, Did you end up finding anything? I'm looking for exactly the same thing with the same budget.

This e36 is really nice, I've seen it in person, wonder where the oil is leaking from. Double edit: I would buy this in a heartbeat if it were certified :<

Coupe only, Manual only, Factory M54b30 only. Motorsport preferable. If anyone knows anyone selling one (not interested in any of Ray's unless the ti is certified), please let me know. Thanks

Is that Picton st? Turns onto Hepburn st then Wellington st at the bottom, I used to live around there. Car is looking great, did you sort out the paint chip from the waterblaster on the bonnet? Bonnet respray or just touch-up?

What needs doing? "The core" are good but expensive, can DIY quite a lot of repairs though with the help of the internet.

Just sold my 328i M3 with near 500,000km for 10k
-
Damn, very nice and tidy. Good buy for the price.
-
^Damn that paint is nice

Daniel Kim's brother owns it.
-
That would look hideous without the massively widened feders etc that the M coupe has.
-
I used Redline D4 ATF in my ZF. That is the correct spec oil, I'd recommend it.

"technically" there shouldn't be any reason for it to not be certifiable. it's narrower than the mirror and as such poses no danger to pedestrians, it's bolted to the chassis so won't come off..Shouldn't be a problem. EDIT: It's not like front mounted Canards which can shear a pedestrian in half should you hit them with speed, unless they go over the hood and the spoiler then cuts them in half?

E36 Suspension. Which route to take!?
Rubix replied to Arborguy's topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
Doesn't require a cert for manual conversion as it uses all factory BMW parts. I'd say go Bilstein monotube shocks from an E36 M3 with the M3 tophats also, and use some nice Koni springs. Or do what every single other person does with their 328i and use Koni yellows and H&R springs. -
Oh that looks ridiculously good. I'd say with bumper reinstated (maybe get a second one to hack into) it'll look perfect. Goes with the square lines of the e36 quite well.

Snuck a photo of Amber's car when she wasn't looking ...jk, finished result will look excellent!
