  1. anywhere from 1500 to 2k bud! these are nice wheels, GLWS
  2. absolutely gorgeous mate! Clean headlights just make such a massive difference
  3. You're welcome bud! This is why we installed that particular brake testing machine. It's very thorough and gives you peace of mind! Merry Christmas to you Colin
  4. Will flick you a text bud! Thanks man. I tore the tendon in my elbow and possibly my wrist..going for an ultrasound today to see the extent of the damage. I had tennis elbow for like 7 weeks and ignored it and kept on working and going hard at the shop doing all sorts like engine jobs and gearbox jobs etc. It does suck getting older. The doctor warned me that this is going to take a while to heal. Thanks dude. I definitely want first option. It's going to be perfect for my e23 project. Legend
  5. Thanks so much mate! Absolute legend. These would be perfect for what I am thinking. No worries dude. Happy to help guide you through whatever it is you need advice or clarification on. I am definitely keen on these so hope you ain't in a rush to flick em. I have just been injured so have a bit of rehab and recovery ahead of me. Cheers bud
  6. Mate I know. And I know in a couple of years people are going to be needing them too. What a waste. It makes me sad man
  7. Mate even I have one of these that I tried to get rid off and no one wanted one. I still have it sitting there too
  8. Yeah matey. Interested! These would be perfect
  9. As the title states, I am after a set of 17 or 18 inch 5x120 wheels in 2 or 3 piece. Classic type of wheels preferred. BBS, OZ racing, Autostrada, AC Schnitzer etc. Must be genuine wheels. Condition is not important. If I have to rebuild them I will. E28 fitment etc is good for me. Let me know what you have guys. This is for my e23 project PFA Contact me on 02102916373 or feel free to message me on here.
  10. do it Jon! I love them in tech 1! I did that white one for the client, it was a bog standard 325i haha
  11. The opportunity came up to buy another e23 735i in Opal Green Metallic. Now my old man had one in South Africa when I was a child which he was subsequently hijacked for and almost killed (shot for) so I ended up buying it. It's in a bit better condition than this one and has a sunroof. the only thing is that it is a facelift. Now it's on the cusp of the facelift year so still has pfl electrics and running gear but facelift front. I will be using the prefacelift parts on it such as the chrome mirros, front valance and front nose cone as I am a sucker for the prefacelift fronts. Pics to come
  12. As the title states, I have bought back my old e23. The Rust has gotten to parts of it. It will be sold with no running gear and a bunch of facelift parts, Seats can be included and door cards etc but no electrics, has 112k on chassis. After 1300 ono. Fraction of what I paid for it but reality has hit and I need to move it on. Will need to be trailered from Glenfield. If it doesn't sell in the next couple weeks I will probably end up scrapping it. Rego is live by the way. the rust is not terminal but it is more than I have the capacity for at present. I am currently in the middle of expanding my business so I would like to move it on to someone who can give it some love. can include the zf 3 speed as well for asking. Will come with facelift e23 nose cone and grill set up and guards etc, plastic mirrors, I love the PFLS so converted the FL to PFL. Also comes with other wheels, not the ones pictured. $1300 ono Contact SJ 02102916373
  13. Been putting the engine loom back on the e23 as I took it off to have it checked prior to selling it 3 and a bit years ago. Now she won't fire up. I'm thinking one of the relays have gone bad or I put a connector on wrong. I cannot find any wiring diagrams for this car. It cranks but has no spark and no voltage to the crank and reference sensors. May be ECU related so I will pull the ECU apart tomorrow and have a look. The wiring is in a pretty poor state of affairs. I am looking to maybe make up a whole loom or just convert the old motronic stuff to the facelift motronic stuff.
  14. Snapped some shots with my mate/client's tech 1 the other morning. Couldn't help it. The lighting was amazing. Yes the Alpine white Tech 1 is on airlift performance suspension.

@charles28 you owe us a 10 second car
  16. have found a commercial dry ice blaster! not cheap but it's going to be great once it arrives. ETA Jan 25. Will be setting up a dedicated hoist for all dry ice blasting and restoration work at my shop. let the good times roll. Dry ice blasting is the most satisfying thing ever. I met with 3 local companies to test their machines and found they weren't as powerful as what I was after. There was a Karcher C02 based dry ice blaster on offer through Karcher NZ but it wasn't as high powered as what I was after at 22k plus GST.
  17. Cool Colin! will do! going to be exciting times ahead
