Had a lovely festive season away. Very impressed with this vehicle. It is absolutely incredible on fuel. I was getting around 4.6 litres per hundred ks open road and it felt so refined and comfortable on the drives. I clocked up around 2000ks of driving which was beautiful!
  3. This thread has inspired me! Off to work I go on audio upgrades for my f30

Acquired this a couple months ago and just got it back on the road. Bought it de-registered and all it required was a right front door and driver's side guard, some paint and repair cert for compliance. Got it all done and dusted, complied, registered and some RUCs for 7k all up which I am not complaining about. She has been a beautiful car. All I have added thus far is a front splitter and the mirror caps which I bought online for measly dollars. Will be updating this as I go along my journey. It came on these factory 19 inch wheels but looking to get some 3 piece 20 inch wheels for it and lower it a tad on H&R super sport springs. Currently doing 117k and will go up as I commute - a lot! Here's some pics
  5. Yeah bro. But the chassis legs that this attaches to are bent. Will need pulling or replacing. I just went through a similar process with a clients e30. Had to get a repair certifier involved, chassis machine cost was 2.5k plus gst, then the 3d chassis report was 850 plus gst, panel beaters costs of doing the work, then recompliance costs. Also having 252k on it would have to allow for things like rear subframe bushes, trailing arm bushings, rotors and pads all round, front control arm bushings, front balljoints, shocks, handbrake shoes etc, it could add up quite a bit. From what I saw when looking at it, it would be a big undertaking but if you have the know how and money behind you as well as a timeframe for quick turn around, then go for it. Repair certification costs everytime the repair certifier comes lol it can add up. Just to make the other forum members aware of the process! What a shame though. Would be perfect for a reshell !
  6. Haha yeah pictures can be deceiving sometimes. It looks like a pretty hard hit. These things bend chassis quite easily
  7. Went and had a look. Ideally needs a front cut as the chassis rails are bent. Either that or be pulled straight on a chassis machine. It's worse than it looks in the pics
  8. As the title states. Not fussed on condition or width/offset etc. Will be rebuilt to suit my f30. Show me what ya got
  9. sold mine last year for 2800, bare engine, no ancillaries, they are getting harder to find so people pay good money for them these days. Especially the m20b25s
  10. More pics added! Excuse the dirtyness. We live rural and the roads are gravel around here
  11. Dude I love your cars, always follow your threads! I am neglecting this one and the gravel roads are not kind to it to be honest
  12. Dude I thought so too. I am moving soon and very time poor. I spend 6 hours a day in a car commuting (round trip) then work 9 to 10 hours a day and will be moving just after Christmas so I need to move this as there's just too many vehicles. I have 4 others and the e60 525d will be up for sale next year. Time to downsize and focus on the one's that are practical
  13. Will take 5k as I need to move this before Christmas.
  14. Back up for sale as deal did not go through. Bump
  15. Sold thanks for looking! Haha jokes
  16. I have an e60 525d Motorsport for sale soon if you're interested Graham. Won't be a silly amount of money. around the 6.5k mark or cheaper if I you need something cheaper. I was going to do some paintwork on it @gjm
  17. My fave tech 1 😍😍😍😊
  18. Bump at this stage will take offers. So hit me with ya best one and I will probably say yes.
