Cheers for the tips Mark. I think I will narrow down to Ilam then, seems to be midpoint between city and airport. Yeah, need to be close to the airport for work purposes. Ilam seems like the suburb for me.

Morning everyone, I will be based in Christchurch start of November onwards. I am looking at going flatting and would prefer the suburbs around the airport. I am just looking for tips as to which ones to stay away from. I have been looking around Ilam and Avonhead. What do you guys/girls reckon? Regards

You have plenty of options to choose from e.g. Dinan, Eibach, H&R, Koni, Bilsteins... just don't go cheap or for the cheap chinese made coilovers. Car is looking nice btw with those wheels.

I should take some pics, sorry being a bit busy with work. Ride height is almost the same as with stock shocks and AP springs. The front sits a little lower and that's cos of the springs being lower in the front. But it suits the E28 as the front fender gap is a lot larger than the rear. I also installed new bump stops in the rear. The rears are adjustable height wise. Will definitely take lots of pics this weekend. The ride is actually better than stock shocks and lowering springs. It was too harsh before, now is more sports comfort. I had the ABS light come ON when I first just the springs installed, but after the shocks got upgraded the light went back OFF. I got the shocks installed by shockshop. They did it for $200. My no is 0211804565, I can watsapp/viber you some pics if you like (of the car).

Hey Ben, Bilstein sports cost me almost $1300 with shipping and customs from turner motorsport. Apex springs were around the $250 mark. I also ordered new shock mounts and bump stops for $100.

I went with Bilstein sports all around with Apex springs. Sits nice and rides beautifully. Very sports feel, not too harsh.

Good evening everyone, I bought a cricket bat on trademe for indoor cricket almost two weeks ago for $77. The seller is based in Palmy and I am in Auckland. The seller sent an email with Bank details and courier costs. I did a direct bank transfer and then emailed him my address. After that, no reply or bat. He didn't provide a phone number either. His ratings are ok, 97% with 260 transactions and people have said he tends to be very slow in replying. But I have informed trademe of the issue and they are trying to contact him. If that fails, what other options do I have? Contact Police maybe? Thanks

True. I think I am confusing this one with the one Hell BM put up for Auction a few months ago.

I am pretty sure I remember this selling for around the 8k mark.

Worth it for an E30 M325i especially if it's original. But 12k = one E39 540i with some spare cash as well.

I just had Bilstein sports installed in all corners. And what a huge difference from the stock suspension! Earlier with the lowering springs, the car felt harsh. On top of that the ABS light came ON and it started making some weird spinning noises around 45kph. But as soon as the new shocks went in, it is so much more smoother but ABS light is gone OFF and so has noise at 45kph. The car is sits a tad higher but it feels spot on.
