  1. I had a 118i for a while. Limited edition model (didn’t leak/use oil and water), I wouldn’t sit in the back of it. I sort of get the attraction, but it’s barely any faster than a manual 328i which is better looking and has a useable boot.
  2. ^^^^^^ I’ve been wondering the same thing. Nice enough, but meh.
  3. Have you tried Autohaus AZ? Used them for an S55 and they were cheaper. But some amg parts seem to be on a “lockdown” until a certain age.
  4. That could be it. Very close though.
  5. There’s an e36 being wrecked onFB that looks to have the same or very similar colour. I think yours is a fantastic job by the way.

  7. $15k + 50% to make it work? That sounds like a pass.

    E39 M5

And then he drops the reserve and it's yours. Just bid $15k and the reserve will show at the end.
  9. I like the duck tail ones. I've seen one here in body colour somewhere. https://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-E36-COMPACT-DUCKTAIL-WING-318TI-323TI-rear-trunk-spoiler-bootlip-/163904918397

There was a red one that sat for ages, similar ks with an asking of $31,500. This looks to have been hardly used for a few years.

    2002 Turbo

    That’s a cool car.
  12. I feel like the number plate is familiar? Is it a former Bimmersport car somewhere?
  13. Probably better on Monroes than the 190k + shocks it was on.
  14. You mean like the 2011 X1 that "sold" last week for $10,100 being offered for $10k?
  15. There’s a 318is manuel (deliberately misspelt as that’s how it is on FB) in Whitianga for $2350 and a much lower km one in Wgtn for $2.5k ono.
  16. I think yours is better Brent, both ends. Thought I’d seen another one recently.
  17. https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/m3/listing/2501074263 Wonder if anything is salvageable?
  18. 99% certain it’s from when first registered. I vaguely remember looking at something that was over 20 years old from Japan, but it had only been registered in Japan when it was about 4 years old (presumably imported from somewhere else), so it couldn’t come in.
  19. Where are these evaluations coming from. 2 grand for a non crashed Evo?? You'd be hard pressed to buy a factory manual 330i with a blown engine for 3k let alone an Evo M3 $2k for a 400,000km car with no motor. Dave asked what it was worth in people's opinions, that's mine if I was to bother making it a good, driveable car again. Yes, it's worth more in parts, if they are in ok condition and not shagged from 400,000 gently driven kilometres.
  20. This, but in Auckland. http://www.pickapart.co.nz/webpage/WebPage.asp?Ref=10381&VehicleID=964&SeriesID=138
