4 pointsI wonder how s54s handle salt water. I'm waiting for ray to maranise an s54 with a tricked smg in a race boat or something.
-
3 pointsI remember seeing at BMworkshop what Mice/rats did to the engine wiring loom of a beautiful red e34 M5. Found this in the air intake snorkel of my M5 :

2 pointsWould've upset the balance the v8 drive train at a guess. The GTR is a playstation wet dream, magnificent engineering. But the nsx imo is a proper super/sports car. Handling developed by Mr Senna.

1 pointSo I just picked up an E36 325i coupe with 202,000km on the clock. The plan is to turn this into a track car, not sure on the class yet, so will start looking into that. However, since I have the ute project as well, this build might take some time. Things I'll be doing to start with are as follows, - complete stripping of the interior and windows, these will be up for sale so let me know if you need anything. - full roll cage - race seats - manual conversion - race seats - new wheels and tyres. Currently has Michellin snow tyres near new, also for sale. - M3 or GTR front bumper - exhaust, intake and ecu Will probably get a better list once I get more knowledge and advise on what else I need.

1 pointRecieved an email advising my gearbox is here and ready to be picked up. I think I have got a little bit of chub.

1 pointNot pooh poohing them, just being realistic. Was taking about 95% of NSX's that are not fast and or Automatic, the last of them went ok but they are in general no drag machine. Would love one though, with a supercharger. My favourite is Wolfs Acura from Pulp Fiction. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

1 pointBe hard to find an SUV that does around 12.7 down the 1/4 mile.... Shameless plugging of Japanese supercars on a BMW forum, so here's mine :-D

1 pointMy current daily is a new Clio, cool little car, amazing that it's only a 1.2, it goes well. I fitted wide tyres and some KW Suspension, so it's on rails. Also has awesome I love my Poodle stickers for extra zero f**ks given about looking cool value. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

1 pointI own one mate, have driven a lot of them. I have worked with Renault a bit. Renault Auckland have a lot in stock, they only really show what they are made off on a back road with the ESP turned off, a lot of fun. The new Focus RS has me boned up at the moment. Saving my dollars for one.. Or a second hand new M3, but I love hot hatches, they are practical, fun, unassuming and non pretentious. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

1 pointM3 of course! Apart from the e30 the others are good to go now that the 46 isn't spewing coolant. Cut down to 4 bmws now, times are tuff!
-
1 pointIf you drive it on the road then it affects anyone else on the road.
-
1 pointCant say anything about that particular one, but i bought an ebay special and i would have had more fun taking the money outside and setting fire to it! Car basically didnt run with the new chip and seller wasnt interested in helping, " must have damaged it while installing it" bullsh17.

1 pointYep, average age of us 8er owners in NZ is about 137 and we're all mellow as f*ck. It is a great gathering, so many different brands, builds and general awesomeness. I'll be there on Sunday if the 8 is back together.

1 pointIt's a shame they never gave it say 450bhp. Arguably the Nissan GTR is the better Supercar.. But still Japcrap. Here is one of my toy at Targa. Shameless post! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

1 pointEUROHO (SJ) might be able to help you - his shop is on the Shore - I'd PM him

1 pointIt is good to remember that NZ Consumer Law is not relevant here, so any arguement for or against is moot anyways. UPS and USPS are two different companies. I always use FedEx when I get the choice. the only company where it stays with the one company right from start to finish, and none of this he said she said bullshit. I cannot stand SOEs Thread closed, no extra information is to be gained by this thread.

1 pointWas gonna say ... it looked a lot like you. Bad luck for the person involved however .. im sure its just a silly mistake /accident. At the end of the day its just a car.

1 pointCheers guys. Detailing cars is what I do for a full-time job now by the way Here's a vid I took in-car at Taupo race track on Friday. Had a bit of fun dodging the drifters. The new livery IMG_9944 by cse.taylor, on Flickr

1 pointWhacked the snot out of the petrol tank on the race car, trying to get the dent out of the bottom of it. Piece of wood through the pump/filler hole in the top, seemed to work a bit. Those fumes though...
-
1 pointThe perfect 36 and for some reason I love a bit of lowered ex police cruiser

1 pointThe 'scenes' thing for different car marquees is defanitely an age thing. People chill out a lot when they get older... still like different cars and brands but with less tudes everywhere. Its quite refreshing.
