2 pointsSeems I have fallen into a hole and the market for these things has taken a dive. Couple of people wasting my time but mostly bugger all contact at all. https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/mini/listing/2770061274?bof=0B5VWTga 2005 facelift R53, manual, supercharged. Had a bunch of work done to get it up to a good standard, and now its a great little car. Looking for 7k but open to negotiation.

2 pointsAfter the tyre incident i learnt my lesson and pulled what good kit i had off my 328 and dumped it into the LS, fixed it up and booked another day, determined to learn track 2 at taupo ( link all the drift sections). Was pretty nervous heading back out again, esp coming in hot to the dip where i had the crash, but persistence pays off and by the end of the day i was linking the full drift section. Its a weird uneasy feeling going 90+ kph sideways. IMG_4091.MOV

1 pointNo, that's a 340mm rotor, stock is 330mm. Here's the equivalent for stock but "perforated" (holes I assume) rather than "slotted" which are the ones in my picture (which are actually slotted and dimpled as you can see). The small diagram on each of these pages is accurate Stock size: https://spareto.com/products/zimmermann-brake-disc/150-3428-52 Mine: https://spareto.com/products/zimmermann-brake-disc/150-2906-20

1 pointSelling these of my old e34 535is, bit more negotiable on price for cash but unfortunately still probably twice the price of a set of mpars https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/car-parts-accessories/wheels-tyres/alloy-wheels/listing/2808327149

1 pointThis is what I did. Grabbed one off trademe, came with fluid and works a treat. Had to bodge the outlet a bit so I could stick a hose on it. I tried the incense thing first but the smoke machine is much more effective.

1 pointSale was easy, he rang me and I made him the offer and he accepted. It would appear he had been mucked around a bit and had been constantly low balled and just got grumpy over it. He dropped the car to the airport for me and I drove back to Welly. Will do a thread soon on it but suffice to say it drives very nicely, better than I expected it would.

1 pointHi there, thanks for stopping by. After pining for years, I finally managed to muster the courage to get myself an E30 project car. Guess it was a few years at uni (7 to be exact ha) and moving around for work, that prevented me from getting hold of one earlier. Anyway, here is my little E30 coupe, I picked it up at a selvedge auction so there's a fair bit of work required, just to get it roadworthy following a rear collision and subsequent insurer-required de-registration. This will be a slow build, with the end-goal being a tastefully resto-modded-s50-swapped beast Here are a couple of photos from the day I bought it. Guess it was a little bit of a rushed purchase, as I saw it listed, won it and drove up to Auckland to collect all in the same day - imagine my surprise when I saw it being dropped-off for collection on the front of a forklift! Other than the usual rust spots, there is a bit of work required at the rear to correct the collision damage and, to some, that would render this a parts-only car, but I struggle with that idea (unless the car is an absolute mess). So, with that, my focus to date as been cleaning it up, inspecting parts and collecting required parts/nice-to-haves for the project and gearing up for some bill shock, come repair/revin/LVV certification time. On that, if anyone has an S50b30 or b32 and a ZF gearbox they would be willing to part with, please let me know! ha ha. Looking forward to sharing my progress and learning a few things along the way

1 pointHi all, my name is Matt and I currently own an E39 540i. I'm a mechanic and WOF inspector at a family owned workshop here in Invercargill. My father started and owns the business and I run it from day to day now, as he is of retirement age and can't be bothered anymore haha. I've owned several other bimmers over the years including... - 2004 E65 740i - 2004 E66 760li - E53 X5 4.4 And my current E39 I've owned 60+ cars in my 38 years, some pretty unique (so many I wished I kept) and would be worth so much money now, hindsight right... My dream BMW would be a face-lift E39 M5, but the 540 is about all the budget extends to at the moment lol. I have 3 kids, my son is 4 and twin 7 month girls and I'm slowing tidying up my E39 as I can afford it but my toy always takes a backseat to theirs lol. Looking forward to talking to others and, once I'm not so time and money poor, going on a few road trips, meeting others and checking out some other nice bimmers.
