Better get a Ferarri Testarossa then, sounds like they'll be going cheap! Run it on synthetic carbon neutral fuel. Life is good. Probably banning logging too. Just ban everything!

there’s a few you tube videos on it, have had it in i3 for about 6 months, works great. Just connects perfectly between the display and head unit. Have to play through Aux though, but the F01 has great sound so no issues, little noticeable in the i3 but perfectly fine. Once in you can jump back to OEM anytime. Search NBT CarPlay on trade embargo, about $500 for the kit and module

Another update on the exhaust. I also added an exhaust tip into the mix...excuse the dent. It has gained 30mm or so of clearance,. but I think I can get a bit more with a few extra tweaks. I dropped it back down, and drove it around for a bit to check for leaks. Found no issues. But I'm going to make a few final changes to maximize clearance, hopefully this weekend. Up on the ramps it goes. The stainless is starting to colour in nicely. That's all, folks.

E39 out, E46 in. Transported it up from Arrowtown last week, picked it up this week. 211,000km NZ New 2 previous owners. Last owner had it for 12 years/173,000km Known faults were the remote keys don't work and it has a vacuum leak under the intake manifold as diagnosed by an indy shop in Arrowtown. A few bits of service history but nothing significant. Fresh off the trailer: After talking to experts (forum members) I've started what looks to be a bit of a maintenance mission. Started with the PCV. It was dated as 2002 so original and very brittle. The oil return line disintegrated in half as I pulled out the dipstick tube. I left the manifold on in a bid to have a driveable car to pick my daughter up from day care in and in my haste I forgot to plug in a few things. Idle was smooth but it was real jerky and had a big dip in the throttle when you initially got on the gas. Scanned it and it came up with cam position sensor fault. So out came the airbox and it turned out I had forgotten to plug in the cam position sensor, alternator and something else...whoops...anyway, seems to be running alot better now. Revs are constant and it's not throwing misfire or rich codes. Did the classic air filter, cabin filter and oil + filter too. It's pretty oily down here... Pretty dusty up here.. ewwwww New stuff I went with 5W-40 just because I had 1.5L left over from the 540 so figured I might as well use it up. New Roundel. I got a cheap one off trademe last time and it wore really fast so went all in on the dealership one this time. Changed the plates over too. DQZ346 lives on. Things to do: - coolant system overhaul - vanos valve cover gasket oil filter housing gasket - New Disa valve (rebuilt) - Tints & chrome delete around the windows - Motor mounts - Get the remote locking working - Trans oil and filter Things I would like to do: - Tyres - Suspension Eibach prokit, Bilstein B4 shocks front and Sachs m sport rears - Xenons + black corner lights - Bluetooth hands free - Bavsound upgraded speakers Feel free to add to this never ending list ?

... that the USA has to offer, along comes a genuine down to earth guy that gets sh*t done without screaming, pimping sponsors products and trying to show off his mega dollar recovery rig. Take a look at how Matt with his family and a few friends just gets on with a recovery, that quite frankly had heart in my mouth a couple of times !!! This is what you need to restore your faith in humanity after getting disillusioned from watching the constant stream of crappy clickbait videos that flood youtube etc. Watch and enjoy.... Cheers...

Got the rear sub frame bolted up, and while i was at it, took all control arms off the donor hubs I got with the 325 axels in them. Came across this haha ... video-1622884653.mp4 Oddly enough none of the suspension components from it looked bent, but i guess a wheel alignment is going to tell when I get this wrapped up I've got plenty of spares for that side, hoping i'm not going to have to replace anything, I really did not enjoy bolting up that hub, got alot quicker at it second time round though i guess.

The gentleman's agreement that BMW would make the Roadster and Toyota the hard top version of the joint collaboration would probably come into it as well.

I guess you don’t mean of the house rennos? 🥺 Dropping the rear end on an E30 is pretty simple, most people have probably seen / done it.. Came out pretty easily and stripped down, the usual one stuck bolt was absent today which was nice. Now to push out the Delrin bushes and swap into the new beam.!

The term "shooting brake" comes from turn-of-the-century England, where it referred to a car used to transport a hunting party and its gear. "Brake" referred to a chassis that was used to break in horses. ... Thus was the modern idea of a shooting brake born as a low, sleek two-door wagon.

No, its not a facelift. Its a prefacelift with an aftermarket fiberglass replica Mtech2 kit.

Didn't really want to go down a pipe join route unless all wrecker options were exhausted, just a preference I guess. One wrecker locally told me they were not going to sell me the line as it was company policy due to safety concerns, some "Facebook marketing manager" I was talking with stone walled me there as she heard the word "brake" and thought I was asking to buy a rubber hose, and I kept trying to explain I was after a metal pipe, haven't been spoken to that obnoxiously in a while. Had a very nice experience with the next wrecker who had some e90s, So big shout out to direct auto dismantlers down in ngongataha who have a surprising amount of cars there. Spotted plenty of e90, e91, E36, even e39 and e46. Definitely worth keeping in mind A Steelie was pushing into the gas tank stopping me from pulling the brake pipe past the gap, so one of the forklift boys made my day even easier haha as the Rhs of the car was already basher up he just flipped the car for me to make it easy as. Was a bit of a laugh. Got everything I need now, time to re assemble

That old chestnut. Whats it been doing all these years of not being used? How many hours are on the engine? Whats the service history like, have all the perished rubber bits been replaced? Low KM is a have use by sellers to ask higher prices from people that want bragging rights.

I wouldn’t have such high expectations.

Withdraw the claim and fix it yourself. In there ads on TV they are always sing and song and happy ending. When you actually deal with them it is nothing but heartbreak and frustration.
