There was an E34 IX Touring here in NZ somewhere many moons back. Saw quite a few of them north of DC while living in the US. Nearly all of them were beaters or stock. The extra suspension lift they have makes them look a little odd.

Nice. My Dad and Grandfather had a South African one when I was a kid for a short time. Was green. Early 80s so no idea what happened to it.
-
Alteration? That was a standard model. The IX E30s and E34s were AWD.

Yeah I did actually. They emailed me on the 12th of Jan asking me to change it. I did on the 12th as I have an email from me requesting a PW reset because I had forgotten it anyway. haha. I did wonder about all this articles telling people to change their PW's in the last few weeks. Ubiquity asked everyone to do this as a precaution on the 12th of Jan.

I ended up going with Ubiquity. 1 x Dream Machine 1 x Cloud Key Some access points, a door bell and a bunch of G4 cameras. Purchased direct from their store in the US. As even with the commercial account we have with PB Tech I was going to pay nearly $2000 more. Only issue I had was that they limit the number of G4 dome cameras you can buy at once to 2. But then allow you to place a second order for them.... I didn't go for the server rack sized stuff in the end. Was going to take up too much space. And make getting it to NZ more difficult. But the Dream machine has IDS/IPS throughput of 850mbps which is pretty damn good for a little device. My max connection speed is 900mbps anyway. https://store.ui.com/collections/unifi-network-routing-switching/products/unifi-dream-machine

Is This Where The E30 Market Is Now..?
Driftit replied to E30 325i Rag-Top's topic in TradeMe discussions
Destined for the garage and the occasional cars and coffee so the boring owner can get off on strangers saying "Wow it's so original". -
It's all the mill does now. Father in law works for JNL. But it means I can hang wheel racks and things from it. They are the only mill that does 3m apparently.

I'm getting 19mm ply in my shed. Putting a run through the mill at 3x1.2 to suite. Sound deading bats in the workshop. New build though.

Was at Mansfield a few weeks back with that same M5C. Real nice colour.

I think that's Kerry and Nathan. Old members.

Bertone. Has a BMW motor. Is based off the Daihatsu Rocky like I have. Great vehicle.
-
It's like mine. But with more KMs. A year older. No wheels. And in worse condition. For double the price... Good buy.
-
Mines a race car. So lots has been changed around. But I think the badges are correct. I don't think it ever had 535i badges on the back. Just the M badge.

8 year old post that's obviously showing up in external searches. Locked.

TBH you won't need any of these devices. The progression of personal devices will likely mean no devices are required in a vehicle at all.

Yup great way to stop the enthusiasts loving your brand. BMW would be nothing without its Classics and the Fans they bring. That's us. I don't think anyone on this forum personally owns a new BMW. Correct me if I am wrong though.

Someone gives you a fact. TROLLL!L!L!!!L!L!L!!. No different to those who screech FAKE NEWS at any piece of News that doesn't fit their narrow view.

Rubber floor mats that I can get quickly that fit well. Can anyone recommend any? I usually hate them but I need them to protect the carpet as we move into wetter weather. I also have sheep on the property who just love to sleep on the bloody driveway right by the gate. When I go to leave they stand up, take a dump and wander away. I hate sheep. There are about 200 of them taking turns doing this it seems.

Things I car about in this thread. How easy will it be to rip all this junk out in 10 years when I can afford this gen of BMW? Nothing worse than 10+ year old "modern" tech in a car. The CIC system and mechanical screen in the E87 has held up well right?

What even is that engine? Looks awesome.

Best BMW tow car I had was my E60 530D. With a heavy Hirepool trailer and a full weight E30, the E60 barely noticed it. 10.5L/100km from Wellington to Auckland. The best tow car I had was my fathers Merc E55 AMG. It actually didn't care there was something attached to it. I did stupid things like destroying an SS Holden racing onto the motorway with my E30 series car being towed along. But 27L/100kms haha.
-
117 I think. It's only doing about 36km a day at the moment. Soon to be about 90 a day though. Sam takes it to the train station at the moment. Keeping an eye on suspension now. Though it is still tight and quiet. Upgrade at some stage.
-
Check on the 3 series tow rating. Pretty sure it would be over the limit. 5 series or X5 if you want a BMW tow vehicle. Get the official tow kit which is vastly superior to any NZ aftermarket kit I have seen. Expect bushes to have a short life. Get self leveling suspension if available.

Saw this on Reddit. This guy's description was dead on. First off, fantastic color choice. Thank you for the pictures. Enough has been said about the face. That said this makes the rear door problem really apparent. It's just so lazy that they didn't more smoothly blend the rear wheel arch with the rear door. And I didn't know the "prolapsed anus" rear bumper came on the M3 too, thought it was just the M4...I'll bet it drives really nice though! At least you can't see the outside when you're sitting in it!

Just at the stage where I need new tyres for the 130. They have worn so well. Even after I murdered them at the track.
