Hello, McFly...why did you import that?
Driftit replied to topnotchrally's topic in TradeMe discussions
Yeah..... That crap must owe them at least $5K after shipping and Tax. Wish they would stop bring sh*t like this in. First serious crash because some kid had a head on when trying to pass in his LHD car and the rules will change for us all. -
Your window regulators and controllers haven't gone yet. It's one of those jobs that will tip you over the edge. It will wait until you are comfortable again. Just like the battery. Rubbing it's hands together snickering.

So different now. People have been breaking into the property more and more. The owners actually passed away a few years back. The kids are holding it at the moment. It will be up for sale soon no doubt. Rough country and fun to explore. From the Ngawi side you can go quite far. But sadly all the 4wd warriors in their raised up patrols hoon through there now so the grounds are pretty wrecked. Waterfall is still a great visit though.

I know the owners of the station, Ngapatiki (spelling) it's called. I grabbed the key a few months back and went up to the end in my Rocky. There has been a large slip where the Surf break is and the only vehicles that could cross would be dirt bikes. It's a private station and can't remember it ever not having gates. They have just been reinforced due to break ins.

Nope that looks like a car from Need for Speed with the generic WideBody optioned ticked.
-
I'm heading along but will leave the car in the parking lot outside. It's had one wash in 4 months. And I can't get out of my drive without it getting filthy.
-
Yeah a bit sad.

There should be a ton of Youtube how to's on this. If you can't find one for the E87 just follow one for the E90. Should be the same. Actually going by this vid it is slightly different to an E90. E90's don't have the locking tab, If so you may need to cut it off and get a new bolt and nut. Get an E90 style without that tab if you can.
-
That just stops the nut from spinning while you undo the bolt. Also @nick496for those gearbox mounts. Don't tighten them up from the bottom until you have the box sitting on them. But FYI. You are going to feel every little vibration from the drive line. Near solid mounts are really only good on the track.

I had a similar issue with my Valvetronic motor. Replaced it and issue went away. I still have the motor if you want me to send it down to you to play with. Most of the time it was fine.

BMW will contact you via snail mail. When they feel like it. Could give them a call.

It was just waiting for you to get comfortable.

Govt Breathes New Life Into "Clean Car" Legislation
Driftit replied to E30 325i Rag-Top's topic in News
Has anyone come across what the governments plan for recycling Electric vehicles will be? Or are we just going to make that out of sight out of mind? Ship it to some 3rd world country. -

I would like to see how they came to this figure. I have questions. E.g. does it take into consideration our extremely inefficient roading and poor town/city to town/city public transport? But I would guess it comes down to our ancient fleet and love of modern yet inefficient Utes. Shame buying a new efficient non boring/ugly car is out of reach for most NZer's due to our terrible finance and lease programs. -
Done the recall for the breather heater thing. Was a nightmare. Thanks Winger and good riddance. Not had a call up for the Airbag. If I do I am going to some other dealership to get it done.
-
I had that once. Nav system was faulty. Unplugged the Nav and it fixed it. But Pramod has all the gear to diagnose and fix your issue.
-
Haha if that's the car I feel sorry for the bike rider.

Snapped a photo before the farm bugs came looking for water and before I drove down the dusty af driveway. First wash this summer
-
Are you Nana driving? Ours has seen the track, mile sprints and the the Remutaka hill every other day though. No toodling through Mission bay + 100% it was a Tokyo traffic crawler for the first 30K.

Water pumps are only meant to be good for 100-120. Valvetronic motor is the same. And all the hoses should be changed as the plastics go brittle. Lots of plastic. I would change the gearbox fluid and filter if you have not already.
-
I was just going to take the good bits and re-list it. 200K is right where I would expect to need to replace everything I just replaced at 100K on mine.
-
Spotted it on TM before I checked here. Thought I was going to be sneaky and beat you all to it. Was already gone Would we even feel a strut brace. Pretty ridged little car already.

Lost the windscreen on the 130 to unswept roadworks just outside of Dannevirke today. Two screens in two weeks to roadworks. Yay.
-
Lots from Michael Grant motors. Seems a bit odd doesn't it.
