Small world, I met Pete and Fee yesterday, I live next door to Pete's parents. Bummer about your old man and his bike!

It is the brother car to the 4wd E46 320d touring on trademe that the dealer has copy-and-pasted data from carjam for. Yes, exceedingly rare

2009 525i e61 remote key not working
Young Thrash Driver replied to e61kid's topic in Electrical system
I really wouldn't like to speculate because I'm used to much older cars, so I'd advise you to get the vehicle scanned at somewhere like Botany Motor Works or BM Workshop. But Dr Google does seem to be pointing at the diversity antenna. Have a look at the wiring harness where it goes between the body and the boot too, I've heard of that being a problem area. -

Lol I was just thinking earlier today that it's been ages since you posted. Give it a proper scan, some of the problems might just be sensor related. Looks tidy enough, it ought to fetch over 4k once it's good

I was referring to the V10. I would assume that with our (mostly rural, open road) driving, the V8 would return something like 10L/100km.

A Saturn IV rocket has better fuel economy than one of them. If I could afford it I would already have rung you

Haha I'm supposed to be being sensible. You lot aren't helping

After an E39 Touring, I am aware of what is on TradeMe, just wondering if there are any out there a bit under the radar/ not advertised maybe. Prefer the M54B30, but I suppose a smaller 6 cylinder vehicle would do if it was manual Cheers.

Happy with where the M20 is at, finally ready to shut the bonnet and leave it alone- thought to myself, "The plugs will be filthy from when it was having problems running" so started the final task of giving the plugs a birthday... pulled on number 4 lead slightly wrong and the friggin wire comes right out of the boot Sigh... who has a spare set of M20 leads?

I suspect given it's rarity, the colour didn't really matter. Although I am wondering what is so wrong with the old one?

You're all posers. My AG200 is where it's at!

Crikey that looks good for a pre facelift! Looks like regular Motorsport bumpers rather than M5.

Lovely pre-facelift SC430 you have there Why is your rego label so high on the windscreen Michael? -
I see it has the super rare swede interior, too. I've always been more of a turnip man myself.

I quote the ad: "Features include: - capable of... being towed."

Could be good buy Manual E36 328 Cabriolet?
Young Thrash Driver replied to LemonHunter's topic in TradeMe discussions
The sellers description sounds like a copy/paste B.S story he uses on a whole bunch of cars- no information pertinent to the specific vehicle. That's just lazy. In saying that, I'd still look at it if I was thinking about a 2 door E36. -
Transporting frozen meat without a chilly bin
Young Thrash Driver replied to gjm's topic in Off-Topic
Is it already frozen Graham? The wet newspaper trick mentioned above will be fine even if it is chilled (we get our meat one beast at a time). Best not to make it a long one hour trip though... -
Belts/ water pump/ tensioner are interchangeable between facelift B20 and B25 for our NZ spec cars, went through this not long ago with my E30. As above, check for z127 mark on the tensioner- although I believe RealOEM points this out. They keep good track of what part supersedes which, too. Poor availability of B20 timing belt kits reflects that the States never got this engine.
