Its beautiful! Sooo... how much???
-
Are they all the same? Have one here from M20B25 E34 in fair condition

The rear fog light bulb circuit is particularly troublesome, you will find you have to wiggle the bulb about every time you use them or the circuit will break itself- the tail light unit uses a pretty poor design. How long until you CNC some custom bits for this particular toy?

Unreal- its the prefacelift twin to my E30! Manual 2.0 with sunroof in Glacierblue with 360km on the clock... Picked it up in Wellington and it drove up to Tauranga sweet as. It really is such a joy to drive a basic car like this every now and then. And you'll enjoy the cheap maintenance and running costs

Chipped the top of the windscreen while replacing the seal on the E39, which has turned into a crack. Shiny new glass time!

Very nice Ray. I can't stand the pre-facelift tail lights, but the back end on this looks great.

Looks good. Topaz Blue?

Hah. Thanks for that gem, 3pedals. I'm off to buy a UPS now...

How much? Wouldn't mind playing around with it... could even convince myself it belongs in the E30 -
Have used DCH, very good to deal with and good work

Whats the long and short of the E46 M3?

Talk to Tom, Andrew. If there's something he doesn't know about these cars it isn't worth knowing. -
Bentley manual says to use a 5kg hammer and a cold chisel Haha kidding, the sources I just checked say to use a flat head screwdriver
-
This shape has really grown on me. I'd like to apologise to Mr Bangle for all the mean things I said about him when the E60 came out.

On our E39 Motorsport, going from Bridgestone semi slicks to Falkens felt like the car had taken off its running shoes and put slippers on. I'd place the Falkens firmly in the "touring" category- wobbly, rolly, soft riding tires, with ok-ish grip and wear.

How worn is the dizzy?
-
I made one from a flat bit of 5mm mild steel, all you need is an angle grinder a drill and a file
-
A manual conversion done at HellBM would be fault free, as far as the electrics go, and the manual boxes are not known for breaking. Talk to Ray, I'm sure there will be some kind of warranty. Bear in mind, once you go manual- it's difficult to go back. The character of the car is very different. Addictive

Worth fixing!?!? It's practically mint
-
+1, manual cats are the shiz
-
Kyu, you need friends in low places

Replaced injector pintles and o-rings on the E30. Also flushed the block
-
Yep, that'll do nicely... Very very nice!

Getting M20 timing belt on 5 min after making a grumpy post in the rant thread. Just had to keep better tension on the long side of the belt and shift the cam gear about 0.5mm to one side. I love having a project car in the garage. Happy Tuesday everybody
