could be the heater matrix circuit? could also be a minor crack in the head gasket (just age, nothing to worry about) thats letting water into the combustion chamber. my Mercedes did that.

top bloke Brent! cant see a BMW P/N on the blue plastic piece either but it does have a roundel, so definitely a BMW piece. ill have a look at some diagrams now that i have a lead (pun intended

okay i just reopened the account etc so post up and PM me your addresses etc. Will edit the first post as well to get ready for new batch of orders. Remember that if it doesnt reach the amount of sets needed i will refund all of you, its a seperate account just for bimmersport so it wont go anywhere. that said, its less hassle for all of us if you can pay when you order so people dont miss the boat. if payment is not on time your left behind. luckily i have never had to do this in the past, must be over 15 batches now?? I will close ordering on Monday week (1st) which means you have a week to get in on this. I will be sending the order on Tuesday the 2nd, so you will have to pay before 10pm on Monday night or you will miss out.

Just picked up an E36 318iS full motorsport car etc. wont go into too much detail about the car so early in the piece, but came with a box of spares etc that i have figured out what they all are, but im not sure what these bits are for? im not overly familiar with E36s an M44s (yet!) the two metal parts on the bottom were slid together in the box of parts so am assuming they are one unit. just realised i didnt put anything in the photo to give an idea of scale, but that shaft is about 1" long anyone recognise these?

you will need good tyres. but if you are borrowing some wheels to get you through remember that they must be the same size and width as the ones you ultimately want on there.

Thats because margins are on average 5% (i used to be a department manager at a supermarket) you cant tell me the margin is only 5% at your local BMW dealer.....

its simple, but easy might not be the right word. Its reverse threaded (so righty-loosey lefty-tighty) and a large spanner size i think 32mm. can be a real PITA to crack from the water pump. May like to take the fan itself off the hub too, i dont usually bother though
-
done the same amount of ams as my car! mines on 2408xx as well, i just filled it up and noticed! cool story bro

the bold part does sound normal, its loose while the engine is col to allow the engine to heat up, but when the car is warm it should be very stiff/damn near impossible to move (when engine is just turned off) does sound like the viscous hub though. will be this or the water pump.

id be in if your doing some euro ones too like without the ferns and stuff, just bimmersport.co.nz across the bottom? i could probably get some frames in cheap if im buying a big quantity from the guy i import all my german plates from. im sure he would budge on price, hes pretty good like that

interesting. you think i should stay with iOS 5.x then? was going to update this weekend, maybe i shouldn't

basically you are paying for what you get. I can't think of the brand of my first one off the top of my head, was a name brand though and that wasnt too bad, but it certainly served as a check your not going 110km/h device not a 140+km/h device. accidentally toasted it by putting the wires back to front when hardwiring it into the E30. never assume red is positive and white is negative. Have had a cobra recently, and apart from starting to make noises and flashing LEDs to tell you the cop has already seen you turned around and pulled you up and is now parked on your back bumper, it didn't do much else. would i bother getting a cheap unit again? definately not. save the coin to go towards the first ticket you get without a V1, or just buying a V1. your spending $300 anyway and the V1 is worth the extra $600

cant go past euro italian, sharp pricing, and easy to deal with.
-
a lot of second hand parts are more expensive than brand new from the dealer. BMW roundels spring to mind too
-
sounds like it could be the throttle position sensor?
-
expencive rear speaker setup!
-
if you could get a pic of the car before you remove springs, i may be interested in those front and back brand price etc.

turns out its a IIc that came in, i found the photo i took of it. so if i still have it then yep can do, we had about 10 of them come in at one stage, i know we scrapped most of them after trying our luck on trade me with them, but should be one aside. According to Wikipedia: Microprocessor 65C02 running at 1.023 MHz 8-bit data bus Memory 128 KB RAM built-in 32 KB ROM built-in (16 KB ROM in original) Expandable from 128 KB to 1 MB (only through non-conventional methods in original) Video 40 and 80 columns text, with 24 lines[4] Low-Resolution: 40 × 48 (15 colors) High-Resolution: 280 × 192 (6 colors)[5] Double-Low-Resolution: 80 × 48 (15 colors) Double-High-Resolution: 560 × 192 (15 colors)[5] Audio Built-in speaker; 1-bit toggling User adjustable volume (manual dial control) Built-in storage Slim-line internal 5.25-inch floppy drive (140 KB, single-sided) Internal connectors Memory Expansion Card connector (34-pin)* * Only available on ROM 3 motherboard and higher; original IIc: NONE Specialized chip controllers IWM (Integrated Wozniak Machine) for floppy drives Dual 6551 ACIA chips for serial I/O External connectors Joystick/Mouse (DE-9) Printer, serial-1 (DIN-5) Modem, serial-2 (DIN-5) Video Expansion Port (D-15) Floppy drive SmartPort (D-19) 12-Volt DC connector input (DIN-7, male) NTSC composite video output (RCA connector) Audio-out (⅛-inch mono phono jack) Its scary that this machine was already 8 years old when i was born lol I had some Colour Classics come in a few weeks back too, look like baby beige CRT iMacs, sold one on trade me last week for $1.50 so the rest have gone, what a shame you asked this week instead of last!
