  1. missed the pictures last time, looks good, hope to come up and do some laps with you guys one of these days!
  2. looked at a bunch of these on Sunday, seem to be going for around double that.
  3. the first step is to establish whether it is legal to fit to your vehicle, this will help, look at first page to see if the vehicle must comply with frontal impact standards, and then look at section 2-1 (page 2) http://www.lvvta.org.nz/documents/suplementary_information/LVVTA_LVV_Cert_Threshold.pdf
  4. yeah i don't see 7 or 6 either for that matter. tidy sure, but tidy in base spec and with 4 doors is not particularly sort after. You can buy manual 325i for 7, SEs and motorsports too. I think 4, if you get it, take the money and run.
  5. is it just me or is the rear and front wheels back to front in your second picture? more dish would usually go on the back....
  6. no its half way being installed into my E30 lol.
  7. They haven't responded to a $400 worth request for stickers, they must not care, so not stepping on toes if you did decide to. only trouble is getting a vector file of the logo. So is Neighbourly not the pyramid scheme i thought it was? i get junk mail every other week from them, oh yeah can't be junk mail i have a no circ sign, its addressed "to the householder", cunning way to get around the sign.
  8. I should have put one on the mortgage 4-5 years ago lol
  9. It should never, ever have been treated as a left and right debate. Lefties single handedly ruined the exercise by politicising the whole thing. If the Nats had said right this is the flag we are changing to, then of course there needs to be debate, but when as much as is possible of the process is decided by the people, left and right shouldn't come into it at all.
  10. did you reset the service indicator lights Brent?
  11. not realistic at all. to get that would need to be fresh off the factory floor with delivery miles, and still in LHD.
  12. showed up to a few BMWCCNZ meets i think, or at least one the same colour...... don't recall that number plate tho
  13. Would you rather a young lady with lots of milage or an older bird with low milage?
  14. and bumpers aren't colour matched either
  15. what did it go for? i saw it but didn't add it to my watchlist it appears.
  16. just bring it home, you could have it stripped in a weekend.
  17. A Daewoo Matiz has a speed limiter from the factory, its the 30kW powerhouse driving the front wheels

try Jon at Auto38 in the Wairarapa, but i would say you will be buying new from BMW or importing, as the sport automatic is not particularly common.
  19. -40 degrees wow a bit chilly in Papakura this morning!
  20. yep but Glenn told me way back that there is no mechanical connection between the cable and the throttle plate, i have no reason to doubt. and on my scanner it comes up with seperate readings for pedal position and throttle position
  21. checking if the Vanos is still operating is the first step, and rebuilding if necessary. from there, can open up the exhausut a bit, leave the intake side well alone apart from putting a fresh air filter into the STOCK airbox, make sure the oxygen sensors are working correctly and within spec. after all that, book it in to be remapped, note this will involve a drive to auckland, there just isnt anyone experienced with remapping BMWs in wellington. hope this helps. can also look into stroking it and/or cam swaps etc but gets into the big $$ at that point
  22. not sure on the E30 M3, but certianly how the E36 M3 is setup, as opposed to all other E36 which is on the control arm
