  1. Fixed it haha! looks like I do need professional help 😢. Proud to be in similar multiple car ownership company aye @Jun bahaha 🤣🤣
  2. Haha - not a surprise at all, apparently its been there for a 'few years' lol. Took me down memory lane when I spotted it under all that dust. I knew straight away it was my 'first' one haha. Reminds me, I need to get them to sort an airbag light on my green one! Nice work on your M5 - have to admit, I've been getting the M5 itch again! 🤔 🤣
  3. I would reiterate too - blocked sunroof drains are an issue and will cause water ingress problems! Clear them now for relatively cheap $ and keep on top of them - this will save you $$$ when you have water soaked carpets and need to dry them. awesome car though and just enjoy it!
  4. What about the moss on the pulsar that they moved onto the street lol
  5. Thats pretty impressive! Hmmm, a 535i GT could be a viable replacement to take over long distance travel duties... 🤣
  6. Don’t disagree 😁. Great way to showcase your fleet though!
  7. Is it just me that finds this advice coming from a stealership quite amusing 🤣
  8. Thanks @akapjay I’ve been leaning towards this so will probably go with it
  9. What else would you spend $8k on and get the same level of satisfaction 🤣 And let’s be honest - you will spend the $8k on something anyway haha!
  10. Thanks for the suggestions so far - will look into them. edited the request to be a bit clearer, meaning , cheap a$$ and effective options/alternatives 😎
  11. I'm keen to 'sound deaden' the cavity of the roof in my HSV station wagon, while I have the headliner out. As there is quite of bit of surface area, using Dynamat would be super expensive. So... what are the cheaper sound deadening options/alternatives? TIA, Cheers

    Milland

What! Miland were exceptional in service and parts availablity. Sad to hear if this is the case
  14. Having own/ed both a 4l manual and a 4.4l auto e31, my preference would be... the auto, which I think it is suited to the GT nature of the e31 (or is it a stage of life thing haha). Don't get me wrong, the manual is the 'bees knees' and is great fun to drive (even with tired suspension lol), but the tiptronic auto is well matched to the 4.4l, smooths out the experience and is no slouch either. Also, don't believe what they say about the e31 being slow, dull and disappointing. I find it a pure pleasure to drive and won't embarrass itself, especially the CSI, against most of the modern 'unmodified' stuff today. And it looks way cooler than anything else out there haha! I thought my manual one had the edge, performance, handling and comfort wise, over the V2 Monaro CV8 I had at the the same time. @Kodachrome If your CSI went to Christchurch, I think it is soon to be 'back on the road' from what I've read in a post on the US forum ☺️. Cheers
  15. Can relate to recommissioning a ‘barn find’ 😎 The Rover SD1 Vitesse vid is a good watch too a thought these we sooo cool back in the day!
  16. Quite enjoy these videos...
  17. You can tell US style FTPs as they have orange indicator lenses. The Euro style are ‘tinted’. As this is a NZ new it should have the euro style ones, which are way better IMO. Looks like the ones on this car maybe US type or are aftermarket - but I’m not aware that they are available as aftermarket. Here’s a pic of a couple nz new examples for ref 😎
  18. Thought that too - especially when its manually converted, wrong steering wheel and US type TP's. But those M-Pars are cool! Have heard that the manually conversion was done properly though
  19. @SmithyInWelly - completely forgot you have done the 3l beemer - doh! Enjoy your new purrchase and hope to catch up again at one of the local events sometime
