  1. Your link doesn’t work (for me at least), but had a look. There was a red one for sale fairly recently, less money too. Uk import from memory. Would be fun.

Fitting and balancing is included. Filled with nitrogen. Last time I was there ps5(?)s were about $270/tyre for 215/45/17 and re003 were $288. For the X5 fronts, they were $142/tyre cheaper than I could find elsewhere for ps4 suv.

From what I’ve seen, the margin from wholesaler cost to retail is 3-400%.
  4. $1,000 battery. Inflation has really hit hard.
  5. For that car, assuming it’s solid, I think that’s a decent price. Way better than a 318i auto.
  6. That actually looks like decent value. Crying out for a set of basket weaves though imo.
  7. A transfer case service is cheap insurance.
  8. 35d will be an import, 40d should/could be Nz new. 30d’s go just fine, even loaded and have one less turbo to worry about.. Sun roofs leak through blocked drains and possibly seals. Air springs (will be there in 7 seater I’m sure) fail, taking the compressor with them if you’re not on top of it. Front control arm bushes go. Brakes and tyres can be $$$, unless you’re handy or savvy when buying. Runflats can make the ride comical in sport on a typically bad Nz road. Standard tyres are way nicer, but you won’t have a spare option in a 7 seater. Service regularly and don’t forget the transfer case. Buy on overall condition and service history rather than a strict ks cut off. I wouldn’t buy an import, but that’s just me. Good luck with the search.
  9. Particularly the price of wheel speed sensors and spark plugs compared with Spareto…
  10. There's some in Hamilton on FB. Knock them down on price for the missing trim piece, should still be available anyway. Or some in Chch, missing the bolts, also available.
  11. Congrats. What’s the worst that could happen? Seriously, good on you for taking it on. Look forward to seeing the progress.
  12. Looks like our old 944, didn’t get the rego?

    Oh that’s nothing. $4.80 item, $40.26 shipping.
  14. €240 on Spareto and they do deliver. 28 day delay though. https://spareto.com/products/ate-pressure-accumulator-braking-system/10-0515-9002-3 not 100% it’s the right one though, part number off real oem will confirm.
  15. $7500 with a new clutch, fuel pump and cam chain can’t be too bad. I’ve heard a clutch is $4k alone.

I know what you mean, but there are still some times it works out. Mate just got quoted $2,760 + GST for parts for a 2013 Volvo, I could land them for $975. Not through You Shop.

Used You Shop by NZ Post. Total order, $48, You Shop delivery cost, $38 including GST. Very nearly made it price competitive to buy here l. They state 0-500gm, $13.50, each additional 500gm, $13.50. Further down the state minimum 1kg, my package weight was 150gm. Read the fine print I guess, but never again.
  18. Thanks Will, that did the trick. 2 hours to remove 9 bolts, including digging up my grandfathers 9/16 open ended spanner. Only to find the last bolt has an end missing and simply turns and turns and turns… guess I’ll just have to mask more off.
  19. No room either way. Full disclosure, it’s a rowing machine. Tried vice grips. Think the best way is to cut a slot in like Neil suggested. Where do you buy a multi tool?
  20. Hmmn. Don’t have a multi tool, hacksaw perhaps. Its only a small bolt.
  21. Trying to remove an Allen key bolt. Someone has been at it before and completely rounded the inside of the head. Can’t get anything to hold and the nut won’t loosen on the other end without pressure. Any ideas?
  22. Assuming my eye sight hasn’t failed me (again), Pirelli are $238 and Yokohama $178 at Hyper Drive for that size. How cheap do you have to be?
  23. Ah yes. Still a no.
  24. LHD, no cert (vin decoder says M30), new Headway tyres and $80k. No thanks.
