E39 M5 For Sale

Recommended Posts

Haven't seen one of these for sale in a hot minute.

Le Mans blue, NZ new and with original plates. My kind of car! Do I just throw away my financial future and buy this? The temptation is real 🤣

With such low ks and in the quintessential E39 M5 colour, I wouldn't be surprised if this sells in a matter of hours/days.

Yeah these don't come up often. Seems a reasonable price as well. Won't last long I'm guessing.

Seems like a sharp price if its been maintained - it certainly does not appear to have been pampered from the photos?

Well that is unsurprising. Wonder who the lucky new buyer is!

No harm in that is there? At $35k it was grossly underpriced and $60k odd being the market rate

It's a dick move, but also a typical move for dealers, because scummy.

Undercut others just so you can make a profit. Real cool.

What if I or a private individual did it? Is it OK then?

No different from a sparky buying a plug socket for $10, then selling it for $15 as part of an install

Anyone else had the same opportunity to but it at that price.

I doubt it sold for 35k as you assume  Gaz. But yes it probably did sell in trade, and quickly as the comments show. Lets wait and see😉

Beautiful example. That 'start up noise' would not be cheap to rectify I'd imagine

It will probably be a hell of a lot cheaper than the same noise in a V10 M5!! 😂

Anyone keen on a lung and an 840ci so i can have a shot at this bahaha 🤣🤣🤣.
think i’ve seen this one a couple of times parked in the wellington cbd. A nice example that looked like it was actually being used -  and not just a garage queen!

awesome combo too

Supposedly a pretty normal S62 thing, just the timing chain tensioner. Probably not too expensive if that's all it is.

Could be the timing chain tensioner but more likely the vanos.
