2 pointsA very well built car by SammyJ here on bimmersport. I personally think its a good bang for buck, its a few years old now so seems pretty reliable and has been well looked after since Sam sold it to Atta and now the current owner has kept in it great condition also.

2 pointsAnother cyclist here (and a law abiding one). Honestly going through this thread reading some of the attitudes towards cyclists on the road scares the sh*t out of me. I've been hit by cars more than once, and have lost a friend in a bike accidents caused by motorists. As douchey as some cyclists can be, realize that any altercation that might happen on the road, the cyclist is going to be the one that comes out worse off. Just like motorists, there are good cyclists and bad cyclists. For the most part, a bad cyclist is just risking their own neck. Maybe go out and ride a bike to see what it feels like to be on the receiving end of a bitter motorist clipping past you at 100kmph and screaming out the window with 15cm of clearance. Most cyclists are drivers, but most drivers aren't cyclists. 'Flesh hitting a metal car' is still somebody's brother, father, sister or mother.

1 pointListed Friday http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=871776619 I'm assuming this would be absent the very helpful 'anti pants shitting' feature also known as Traction Control. Adjustable's probably don't give as smooth of a ride as BMW shocks either. Whats the general consensus on value for money here? for another 4K you could have an E39 M5...

1 pointStarted work on the body mods. Big thanks to the guys @ Quest Fabrication for the time spent measuring, cutting welding the front gaurds. Sacrificed new oem M3 gaurds and FLift sedan/touring gaurds to make M3 Touring `Concept` ones.

1 pointI learned a few things today: the noise I describe above was definitely coming from the front swaybar end links; and, the car handles like a bus without a front swaybar. Took the front swaybar and end links out as it seemed the easiest way to be definitive about the clunking even though the balljoints appeared in pretty bad shape. It was pretty clear when I dropped the links how shot they were so it no surprise that the noise was gone when I took it for a test drive. It surprised me more that both sides failed at the same time. I do not recommend removing your front swaybar as a handling upgrade... It's woeful around corners and tramlines like crazy. New links should be here next week I hope. Also confirmed with the machine shop that they can cut ventilation groves in my new steering tie rods when they arrive which will be great because I'll have no fitment concerns then.

1 pointKnobhead cyclist of the day goes to this guy http://www.stuff.co.nz/timaru-herald/news/67716529/14000-bike-stolen-on-short-stop-in-pleasant-point?cid=facebook.post.67716529 How blaze do you need to be to leave $14k resting up against a car? I hope he doesn't get the bike back... just to teach him a lesson. If insurance pays out it will be an even bigger joke

1 pointI hate those guys too... and I am a cyclist - just a commuter, not a lycra. I DO follow the rules, like we're supposed to, but I think people STILL think I'm like the wanker ones who don't bother with the rules, but think everyone else should! PLEASE don't think we're all the same!

1 pointThey are extending it to bypass Cambridge, and I think Hamilton too. Will be good, keep Aucklanders out when they are on their way to karapiro to be snobs and f**k up the boat ramps.

1 pointNot exactly a BMW. Helped a mate out remove a snapped bolt in one of the heads of his GC8 WRX v3. I love my mill ... makes doing this sort of stuff effortless.

1 pointPretty stoked to be in a job where I can be paid to drive around and talk sh*t to people. I've been talking sh*t my whole life, now I get paid to do it. Winner. Also did I mention lesbians.

1 pointInstalled Agency Power exhaust, renamed to `HELLBM` and swapped out MSS54 DME for a MSS54HP DME. Latest DME includes top speed limiter removed, sport mode on at startup, oil temp warmup lights, shift lights, rev. limiter increase, aux. air pump delete, faster throttle response.Add to that the subtle `burble and pops at high rev. changes. Huge thanks to Tom for his very clever handiwork with these DME`s. Brilliant driving experience.
