2 pointsHow many times have you done this? You write a post, check it, post it, and then notice that huge, glaring error which either makes you feel like a illiterate idiot, or completely transforms the meaning of your post into somethig completely different to your intention. Obviously, you can edit it, which is great, but invariably leaves the 'Edited by...' message. I'm obviously being pedantic, but that annoys the hell out of me! Would it be possible to have a few minutes to edit a post, before this happens? Post, edit, make corrections, submit and so on for (say) 3 minutes before the 'Edited... ' message is added?

2 pointsThis has been around for a while but I came across it again. Good for a laugh.

2 pointsyour first decision from here is to make sure the E28 is the chassis you want to throw your coin at If its not, prepare the E28 for sale. If it is, M30 and manual from the E34 into it, following @Brents advice from above, he has done the swap before etc

2 pointsI concur. I usually copy the text and delete my message quickly. Paste it, make the correction and post again One can't stand being branded an editor of ones posts.

1 pointShe's a pretty special car. The owner is a forum member and has an incredible collection of 8ers (including the M8 replica you may have seen racing and both Alpina variants). The car you saw has also had Jeremy Clarkson's fat arse in it.

1 pointTo stop hogging all the m30 bellhousing 260s in the world! The easiest thing to do is find the right gearbox for the car (if it runs ok). That should also be the cheapest (although may not seem that way with the upfront cost/hassle of buying the right box). But it has the highest probability of going without spending up on lots of random stuff you don't yet know you are missing. Next easiest would be finding the right box and putting your b25 in. This involves more electrics I suppose but the exhaust fits. M30 would be fastest, but if I remember your other thread not the M30 you have. Doesn't that engine have problems? Would need a cert. Anyway - that's my 2c. Get it going, drive it and work out what you want.

1 pointBeen asked this once already. Basically I want to see what kind of response I get since I think the T.Star do make it a bit more attractive for anyone interested. Depending on how it goes I may sell them separately .

1 pointHardly looks like it snaps. My 335i has veered off to the side a few times when using launch control on crappy, near finished, Bridgestone runflats. Just lift off and countersteer. Maybe that guy had aids off completely, I had them reduced (DTC mode). Wheels were instantly spinning and making a smoke cloud upon takeoff, car rotated as it moved forward..and it was easily controllable. I know an M4 is more powerful but it has a limited slip diff, so shouldn't be harder. I think he was half asleep

1 pointHe's a f**king retard. 0.5 seconds is ages when things start to go pear shaped. And you can see from the video he hardly counter steered, he was either asleep or hopeless. It was a low speed tiny power slide
-
1 pointThis is just like the debate when the video first came out. Not much agreement then either.

1 pointHardly attempted to correct at all. If you can't react within 5 seconds there no hope for you at all lol

1 pointBlue/black 1994 850CSi (reg ***55) on SH1 near Meremere, making good progress towards Auckland. Driver didn't look very relaxed? (I hope Meremere didn't have anything to do with it!)

1 pointHave you looked on Ebay at the vinyl (leather look) trim sets you can get? They look like a moderate DIY job to re staple the upholstery... e.g. something like this (for early sport style seats): http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-E30-325i-318i-325is-SPORT-SEATS-NATURAL-TAN-UPHOLSTERY-KITS-NEW-/262118555199?hash=item3d077bbe3f:m:mGdoHCDhRms3-eA4ifMcKew&vxp=mtr

1 pointLooking at the photos I'd guess all the above parts are toast except the diff. Maybe. Would want to have an expert check the state of the bearings before I put it into another car. Given the state of the left front and rear right corners I would be keeping stress fractures and collapsed rollers in mind regarding the bearings. Sway bars will probably have bent too. Engine looks reasonably unscathed from the photo (God knows what its like underneath though) and one would assume the gearbox is ok. Good luck to all the interested parties, you'll probably be fighting Ray and Brent for it too!

1 pointIf you can stretch for the drive I suggest ray@hellbm. He is on the shore near silverdale which is a hike for some but well worth the effort!
