6 pointsThere are a bunch of you that really need to get a life.. You sit around like a bunch of old menopausal spinster women in a retirement home desperately seeking things/people to criticise despite knowing NOTHING of the circumstances. One starts it off (like in this topic) and the rest are in like a pack of dogs. Is it that you are not getting it at home??? Maybe you all should invest in an inflatable lady/man which you can pass around to remove the source of your frustration???

5 pointsGave it a wash today. Looking pretty again. Then because I washed it at my Fathers house he commented about how nice it was looking and that he wished he had time to wash and polish his Spitfire now that it's registered and wof'd for summer. Then he pulled it out of the shed and lamented in front of me about how dull the paint was looking. After a few more not so subtle comments I relented and gave it a wash, clay bar, cut and polish..lol Before. After.

Xyz 6 pot brakes Ground control coilovers made up of koni shocks and eibach springs Ireland engineering adjustable sway bars with solid ally mounts E46 purple tag steering rack with no power steering Akg v2 shifter Momo Coarse Seats Delrin bushes everywhere 17x8 lightweight wheels and toyo r888s (done one meeting on them) Fiberglass boot, bonnet, wing. Mtech bumpers all gutted and pinned. Lexan windows Lots of weight reduction done to get it to 1080kg race weight with me in it. 1 pointWife and I killed couple of days in wellington and went and saw the displays at Te Papa and War memorial. Both thoroughly enjoyed, I preferred the war museum and wife preferred Te Papa but learnt so much and we came out of both feeling quite sick and teary. decided I would have lasted 5 mins in those conditions partly because I question everything and would have had a problem blindly following orders. Really angry at the needless waste of lives by guys playing chess at the top. 4 years to try and take a f*$king hill then pack up and go home. So grateful I was born at a later time and didn't have to see my kids sent off to war, damn that made you think hard with a lump in your throat. but for the grace of god. A new found respect for those that went and the subsequent Anzac parades just because of my previous ignorance levels. Confirmed my distrust of authority, those bloody recruitment posters and bullshit Amazed at the wax figures ,preferred the real size ones at museum and kept waiting for one to move. Genius For anyone at a lose end, take the trip had to queue for an hour to get in at TePapa but no props at war museum. Both free too

1 pointmy dad was in ww2,in fact met my mum in the UK and came back here in 1944 after being wounded. The thing that i cant understand is a generation of parents who would have been involved in WW1 would have seen their sons go of to ww2.How on earth could it happen.

1 pointI see what you're saying, but this wasn't an overtaking move (on my part). I was passing a stationery parked car. Hopefully this shows what happened. I was passing her, she started to pull out, I stopped. Had she of been heading straight down the road we might have been OK, but she turned tighter on something similar to the line I've showed, and contacted my car. She didn't stop at that point, and continued to move forward, dragging her car on the corner of mine. At one point she was virtually at 90 degrees to me, something she would never have been if just pulling out. Then she seemed to realise something was wrong, turned away slightly and pulled into one of the bays shown. (I think it was the 2nd or 3rd bay from the end.) I reversed, then moved forward so I could also park in one of the bays. In basic terms, I was proceeding along the road when she pulled out of a parking space and drove in to me.

1 pointHi mate if you want serviced focussed on the customers requirements, speak to Lance, ML Audio Ltd. Former owner of Abtec in lower Hutt before selling his half. 0273833046 He is just setting up so no shop just yet but has all the stock etc. Always good to help out new business if you can!! I brought a bunch of stuff for my E30 last week

1 pointnever got why people want to know how many were made.. irrelevant 20 years later when many are written off, wrecked, scrapped etc. Tourings have no issues specific to the touring, some would say the boot lid wiring, but all E34s even sedans get issues with the wiring to the boot/tailgate. 20 years on, E34 probably still one of the most reliable BMWs, very well built, modules rarely fail etc, just cooling issues they share with E36

1 pointHey everyone, so in the next few weeks I am going to start seriously looking into getting a e61 550i motorsport 07 or 08 lci wagon. I see there is a couple on trademe at the moment for 25k done 105km. I will get a ppi done and I will get mech insurance. It's there a suggested list of things to service when I buy the car? Trans fluid etc? 25k is at my max budget but I should get 3 or 4 grand for our trade in and hopefully get the insurance thrown in or discounted. I will also get the nav and radio converted which is I think about 700.

1 pointSorry Josh but I think you've got it wrong... Whether the driver was indicating to pull out from the side of the road is irrelevant (although relatively simple to prove)... It's simply a case of someone pulling into /attempting to cross a lane of traffic from being parked at the side of the road and not having sufficient time/space to complete the manoeuvre...

1 pointGO IT SORTED Turns out it had just come off the rails. But now I have a regulator I don't need haha. Thanks for the help guys!

1 pointHow does the "Q Motors" surrounds on the plate mean it's never seen a specialist? I bought my 335i from them, they seemed to know their stuff with BMWs and they sell heaps of them...

1 point^^^ depends on wipers for left or right all my BMs are Euro assembled and have left hand wipers so don't get caught out with right hand when you might need left hand

1 pointGood to meet you yesterday, Dave. The 750 looks fantastic and was a standout at the meet for me. Actually, a standout because it wasn't a golf or 3 series!!! Big cars FTW!!

1 pointGot the car back yesterday! Engine rebuilt and new clutch too. Mounted the carbon performance spoiler when I got home which was a breeze using 3M Automotive 2-sided tape. Held it on firmly with painter's tape overnight and removed this morning and it's on solid. I was going to use BMW's Betalink but it's super messy and totally permanent so went with 3M in the meantime. Got the wheels changed over this morning as well and I'm stoked with how the car is looking and feeling. Just gotta keep it under 4k rpm for 2000ks then an engine run-in service and all good to go. Here is a teaser pic in the meantime before I take some proper ones.
