Should be behind the glovebox

Markets change, consumers change so companies need to change to keep up otherwise they will be left behind so you can't really compare today's cars to the old. They may not have class defining characteristics as you put it but they are class leading. Enthusiasts buy for a number of reasons but I don't think depreciation factors into the purchase otherwise no one would buy a brand new car. They buy generally with the heart and not the wallet. The E9X and E60 are approaching the bottom of the curve now and in 5 years they will head up much like the rest of the M cars. They may not appeal to you but to many of the kids these days they do appeal and they are the ones who will buying them in 20 years

Havent read the article but probably referring to the M performance exhaust. Care to elaborate? The driving dynamics of any modern M car are an enthusiasts dream. You may rubbish all the extras, naming conventions but doesn't take away from the way the car is designed to drive and how it does drive

Could just be where it's leaking from that when you are on a flat it pools in the subframe or somewhere
-
Depends how it's been done but easier to track down some replacement struts, same sort of set up as e30 so likely to be welded in the front, and then remove the compressor, tank and lines.

Have seen all sorts of weird and wonderful things in cars including airbags hardwired in and DVD players earthed on airbags so unless you have owned it since you then you can never be too sure what lies beneath

Sit down with the service manager and have a decent chat about it all. Half the problem is we are dealing with 20 year old cars which are going to have underlying issues which no one knows about. It's highly unlikely, close to impossible that the DSC module failure has anything to do with the airbag recall. It's like saying since you changed my engine oil the windows don't work

Does the car have a CD stacker in the boot? Have seen them replaced with bluetooth module
-
I would agree with you but had a customer in yesterday which VTNZ had failed his WOF as his cornering lights were LED unless we could supply some official documents to confirm they are LED from factory
-
Also install angel eyes into the likes of e36/e46 are now a WOF fail too
-
FYI fitting LED bulbs to headlights that didn't have them from factory are now a WOF fail

How about silver? Now the z4m coupes are also coming out https://www.trademe.co.nz/2166328305

Why does everyone hate yellow? I like it, along with Phoenix gold

Other good spots are the south of France (Avignon), Rome and Stockholm. It all depends what you like and are into. I tried to spend at least 3 days in each city but you are still not going to see everything

Oktoberfest is on during that time so thats a good enough reason to visit Munich otherwise it is a beautiful city. If you are planning to go the BMW museum, there are no signs but it is closed on Mondays

Yes they do pay but as you say it's only a certain amount and can take up to 3months for the factory to process the claim and depending on total cost of repair difference is only a couple of hundred. Not sure what else you would like to know

This one? https://www.trademe.co.nz/2031376993

Not sure, it sits here at work and doesn't get driven much at all haha

Have driven the 320d alot and it is pretty popular. Its a good all round car, good for daily duties and if you want a bit more punch then sport mode gives you want you need. Haven't seen any major faults with them coming through
-
Yes that's the one above, owned by my boss

just seen one pop up in one of the e30 facebook groups, will try to find it again and send you the link

PM me your rego and I'll check if the recall has been done or not. Unlikey to affect starting of the car however if it ran fine before the battery change Also, what size battery went in vs what battery came out?
